This was purchased to replace a power supply for rainfall lights. It would be nice if they posted the connector dimensions so I could order the correct extension cord.

Exact replacement for a burned out power supply. Used for snowfall light set

the voltage is correct ....the amperage is sufficientthe wire locking ring is a mismatch, but that why they make self fusing tape

Used these to light LED outdoor decorative trees, because original power plug failed after two years. Hope these last longer. Pretty pricey for a 5 volt plug in.

I bought this as a replacement power adapter for a string of LED lights. The included adapter died after about a month of intermittent indoor use. This one had the same voltage / amp rating and had the same connector. It also had almost the exact same brand name. After less than a week (maybe 20 hours of use), this one failed. It now puts out about 0.22 volts according to my multimeter.I cut the connector off the string of lights and soldered on a USB plug which I plugged into an adapter that cost about 1/3 of this one. In the future, I'll stick to things with a standard USB as power connectors to avoid these weather-tight adapters that all seem to come from the same factory and seem to be of garbage quality.

I liked that this power supply dropped in and was an easy replacement. This power supply is doing everything it said it would on an led Christmas yard decoration.

Great product to replace damaged original plug.
