i use this power supply in a busy shop. it's mostly used during programming events and also to keep battery voltage steady during extended diagnostic testing and it performs very well for those purposes. it has also been able to rescue a few batteries that wouldn't charge on my other chargers. it has never given me any trouble in almost daily use for the last 6 months. the housing, buttons, clamps, etc all feel greath, its definitely a quality tool. i highly recommend it and will be buying another one (just for backup or the occasional times i need to have 2 cars going at once.

This unit itself is built well and has plenty of cooling. Being able to maintain voltage and also charge is what made me give this unit a shot. I program vehicles 80% of my day and needed a solid piece of equipment. And the cables, they are beefy! I purchased a neoprene wrap for the cables to keep them more manageable. After several months of use, this unit proves to be what I needed.

While bulky and heavy, this thing is a beast. Can charge as well as maintain voltage with no issues. My only gripe is the power cord. Many shops lack this style of cord as well as virtually all houses. It has a 20a 110v end instead of the normal 15a end you normally see. That’s due to the current draw this thing can have.

Great price for a quality power supply that is needed in today's vehicle troubleshooting. Cables, clamps all high quality and heavy duty.

I work in dealership shop with lots of software updates requiring constant use of a battery maintainer. This maintainer works excellent for keeping battery voltage high during updates and I like how it’s programmable to output voltage. It also works well to recharge dead batteries. It’s a must have if you need a good power supply for software updates on most cars up to 100 amp output. I also like the quality cables that are made of welding wires. Very good purchase and would recommend!

Honestly, best PSU for your car when you do programming. It worked perfect for my BMW when I flashed the FEM module. I do wish that it would display the real time amperage supplied to the car but, oh well, works well enough. Also, the quality of this thing, just wow, very solid. All the buttons felt great, the casing is sturdy as hell.

I’ve used this on an E46 M3 as well as E60 M5 and assume it will work well on my E90 335i as well for both coding and diagnostics where you have the ignition on but engine off for long periods of time. The cables are very nice (soft and flexible). Make sure you have a 20A receptacle for the input power to the power supply. My only criticism is I’m not a huge fan of the twist-lock cables - they work but it’s just seems like there is a better solution (or maybe this is very standard for welders and I need to just be quiet :)
