This works very well but follow the directions.
Works great but follow directions and let it set in. I got my driveway damp then apply it to the engine and transmission fluid stains. A week later I watered and scrubbed the area and let sit for two weeks. I just power washed it and the stains are 90% gone, my wife is very happy LOL happy wife happy life. Very effective , great for grease and oil stains.

Removes stains as intended
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This worked great at removing the stains from dog urine in concrete.

Not perfect but works
After accidentally putting a nail through a buried and capped oil line I had some clean up to do. It sat leaking slowly for a long weekend before I noticed it, so the concrete was soaked through (i.e. this wasn’t a superficial stain that I wiped up immediately). Gave this product a try after reading up on many other options. Treated it for a total of two months. The pictures don’t do it justice (End of Aug, end of sept, and end of Oct) and although there is still a stain, it is smaller and lighter than before. I followed the instructions closely (I needed to mist more frequently than the instructions suggested).Important to note: I was not able to cut and seal the pipe until the beginning of October, so I only had one month out of two months of treatment where I didn’t have slow, continuous oil seepage from the hole in the pipe adding to the problem. Also worthy of mention - I don’t know what material was used to bury the pipe in the past, but it seems darker and more absorbent compared to the surrounding concrete. The results of the treatment were better on the surrounding concrete than on this material. Finally, the product really addressed the oil smell. The whole basement smelled of oil. It was bad. This product eliminated the odor, and allowed me to successfully patch the hole with quick mix concrete.Although the result of the treatment wasn’t perfect, my concrete floor didn’t look perfect to begin with. Given the initial conditions and circumstances I described during treatment, I am pleased with how this product worked.

It takes time and patience, but that oil spot will disappear
I was hesitant that this was going to erase the oil stains in my driveway. I was absolutely shocked as the oil stains became lighter and then eventually disappeared. Even though the old driveway is cracked it looks exponentially better than it did. This is much better for the environment than using degreaser and other chemicals that are rinsed into the gutter. All drains lead to the ocean and you need to protect the dolphins somehow. This product takes time to work. This is not a spray on scrub a little let's sit for five minutes and then rinse off and it's gone. You play the long game with this product if you want a good looking driveway again. It doesn't take any scrubbing at all. You sweep off the oil spot, sprinkle this on and brush back-and-forth to cover the spot and then missed with water to activate the microorganisms that breakdown the petroleum product.

Easy to use. Not effective.
I have several deep stains in my concrete and have been trying to find something to make it look new again.I followed the directions to a T and at best it made the stains a little lighter.I even repeated the process on several spots trying different amounts of time and water with the same results.Overall I wouldn’t recommend this.

Cost effective, Hydrocarbon munching concrete oil stain remover
This is a powder form of hydrocarbon eating bacteria. Completely non toxic and environmentally friendly. Wet the target concrete or asphalt area with water and sprinkle this powder lightly on the stained areas. The little guys will eat oil, gasoline, hydraulic fluid and transmission fluid. Another method is to lightly sprinkle on dry, then sweep the powder around and then mist with a spray bottle to activate the bacteria. This is a two week or so project of sweeping the powder around and watering to activate. A more direct, but more expensive way is to purchase the bacteria as a liquid goop and do the same thing. The thickness and water retention of the liquid goop eats the oil stains overnight, but at a greater cost. The powder covers much more area at less cost, but takes some patience and repeated watering. This works incredibly effectively on my porous concrete paver driveway.

Very Happy With Outcome
The media could not be loaded. I documented a 9 week journey on video on using this product. Considering what was in the beginning (the stain), all in all very pleased with what the final end result was.
