Great bang for your buck!
My almost two year old recently started the whole 'attempting to escape from the crib' bit so I thought it'd be a good time to switch her over to a big girl's bed. Moving her straight into a twin or full sized bed would be ideal financially in the long run; however, space wise, a toddler or converted crib made more sense for her room.I initially looked into purchasing the toddler conversion rail for her crib, but it was $60+ and a majority of the reviews were unfavorable. I came across this Orbelle toddler bed in my research and was pretty excited since the price is comparable to buying just the one rail. I'm so glad I decided on the toddler bed instead of converting my little one's crib with a toddler rail!Directions for assembly were straightforward. All you need is a screw driver. An Allan wrench is included. I was antsy to put it together so I did so on my own before my boyfriend came home from work.My furniture assembling skills are slim to none, but I successfully put together the bed by myself! You construct the side rails first, then install the bed slats, and finish by screwing in the headboard and footboard. The most difficult part was installing the slats because one would pop out of its notch as I was inserting another one into its respective hole. I eventually managed to install all the slots by starting with the middle one and working my way out on either side. Having two people assemble it would definitely make the whole thing a breeze. The bed frame itself is very lightweight. I'm quite petite and I had no problem moving it around. It also fit through our doorways easily when fully constructed, unlike our crib. My boyfriend (~180 lbs) laid in the bed with our daughter to read bedtime stories despite my insistence that he'd break it. Surprisingly the bed didn't collapse. It's pretty sturdy for the price.

This bed is perfect. I am so happy I took the time ...
This bed is perfect. I am so happy I took the time to read so many reviews on toddler beds. Previous reviewers were correct. This bed is a great value. I bought the white. The finish is excellent. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. All holes were perfectly aligned and the predrilled holes and fasteners made it very easy to assemble. The slats that hold the mattress are pine and very sturdy with the placement close together. The slats fit into slots on each side of the bed and once assembled, they cannot slip out of place. I think this makes all the difference after reading some reviews on other beds where the slats are flimsy, may slip out or crack and not cut to the proper size. I consider myself a picky shopper and could not be any happier with this purchase. For others who may have seen the picture of that adorable toddler bed size comforter that another review posted, they sell it on Land of Nod. I can highly recommend that as well.

This was perfect for a bed that was only $63 and sturdy ...
I was looking for a toddler bed that was inexpensive for my 20 month old son. This was perfect for a bed that was only $63 and sturdy enough for my active little boy. He loves his bed and even jumped on it a couple of times and it did not collapse or fall apart. Then again, we used the same mattress that we had for his crib, which was pretty good quality. (I would not recommend foam-like Ikea matresses if your child is active and may jump on their bed). We currently live in an apartment and he shares a room with us, therefore size was a big thing to consider. The bed was perfect size, not too big or too small. For $63 it got the job done. The only thing is, assembly was a little bit of a challenge since we needed 2 people to hold the bed together, while the other person screwed everything in. Other than that...everything was great.

Orbelle Toddler Bed was a great purchase for my daughter! Highly Recommend!
I researched a lot of the toddler beds here on Amazon and I picked this bed because it had the better of all the reviews. I was a bit skeptic because I did read some bad reviews about assembly, parts & customer service replacement issues.....but I also read great reviews too, so I took a chance! Best money I spent with free shipping. The item arrived quickly & every single part was there & un-scuffed or scraped. Everything came in PERFECT condition. I purchased it in white & the wood is not some cheap wood either!! My husband works a lot & I was anxious to get this put together, so I just did it myself. Instructions were easy. Every part & screw etc was there. All you need is a screwdriver & an allen wrench. Some screws were hard to hand screw for me but I put in a lot of elbow grease and got it done. Perhaps a drill would've been easier for me but my husband had it with him at work. I followed the directions to a T & it came out great. Tighten everything extra afterwards so it's not wobbly. Our Serta standard crib mattress fit the bed perfectly. I have no complaints about this bed whatsoever, Everything went smoothly. My daughter loves it & it's very sturdy too. Great purchase!!! I highly recommend it!!

Really awesome toddler bed for the price!! Looks great!
Putting this bed together on your own can be a bit of a struggle only because when you’re doing the middle slats, it’s hard to get them all to fit at one time and as I was getting some in, others kept popping out. But if you’re assembling with 2 people, it’s much easier. Also the holes where the middle legs attach don’t line up to well. Overall wasn’t terrible, you can make it work, just takes a little bit of muscle and patience. I have to say though, once the bed was assembled, I absolutely loved it. Won’t be taking any stars off for assembly because I think I would have had a much easier time had a utilized an extra set of hands. Overall I think it’s an awesome bed for the price! And looks really nice in toddlers room.
