This is a poorly made product! The metal is thin. The flanges are not welded. The flanges are separate and attached with two bolts to the rack. Bad design if you're interested in security and strength. Made in China and it shows, it's a cheap product. This is what you might get from Harbor Freight. For about $15 more than this piece of junk, you can buy something like "RockyMounts Post Up" which offers a welded flange and heavy, thick steel that is powder coated.
