everything it's cracked up to be.... ...
everything it's cracked up to be......... wished that the USB interface was on the front panel though as opposed to an extension cable from the back of the unit. but this thing plays really really well..... it's crisp clean sound, the preset eq allows you to really zero in on the clarity as well as allows the user much flexibility when playing from different sources. I do suggest however that you purchase the parking brake bypass module if ur interested in playing videos while driving(not recommended) but just in case you do wish to go that way.

Great Head, just a couple qwerks
Loving this head unit so far. PLENTY of inputs and outputs. Enough so that they can take up a lot of room behind it, making installation a little bit of a challenge to get it all shoved in the dash.My only complaints so far has been the need for a separate cable to attach an iPod/iPhone to it to fully utilize the integrated controls. Personally, I use the Bluetooth Audio connection most of the time, but it would be cool to have for streaming movies and whatnot. My other complaint is the data display when the radio is being used. For whatever reason, the radio only displays 8 characters of the artist/title information, where the CD/Bluetooth both display about 30 characters. I've looked for a firmware upgrade, but the only one available is for iPhone5 support. I've noticed the information doesn't always get split out into the various lines all the time either. Again, only seems to happen on the radio. You can operate the unit open or closed. There is NO informational display of any kind when the unit is closed. It functions just like when it's open; you can change the volume, the source, FF, REW, skip tracks, whatever. You just can't see what it is you're doing.BTW, the owners manual is huge, so be prepared to do some reading if you want to know everything about the unit and it's settings. All in All, it's a great unit! Just need the display on the radio corrected.

Looks NICE but LACKS FUNCTIONALITY
I installed this in my Mitsubishi Lancer and after having it for 6 months I have a few FUNCTIONAL ISSUES with this unit.CONS!!1) You CANNOT play movies from USB drives or off your phone (neither usb nor bluetooth connection)!!!!! (HUGE DRAWBACK....who wants to keep a heap of DVD's in their car?)2) There is no SD Card slot3) Iphone 6 compatibility is minimal. (There is a Pioneer app but it doesn't provide full iPhone 6 functionality)4) You CANNOT install/upload your own backgrounds5) There is no way to enter the name of the song/artiste you are searching for (you can search by scrolling through all the songs after it is sorted alphabetically though) E.g you can't enter a part of the name of the song or artiste if you cant remember the full name of either6) System is a bit slowPROS1) The system looks rather nice2) Good screen quality and size (watching DVD's is actually quite decent)3) Phone connectivity is seamless (contacts, call logs, playing music via bluetooth)SUMMARY:This system doesn't seem to be any better than the cheaper brands with regards to functionality. I'm not sure if they have addressed these issues in the newer version of this deck but i believe you can get something cheaper with even more bells and whistles and greater functionality. You seem to be paying for the brand name with this deck. I'm yet to see if you pay for longevity but I guess I will find out a year or two from now. Will update then if I remember

What's the difference
Best purchase I've made made the current sound system sound 10 times better. All that was changed was the head unit (sound stream) and removed the equalizer and the new sound is incredible mids&highs are crisp and clear

which is fantastic. Screen looks nice
The only reason im not giving 5 is because i only recently installed. The slide comes out surprisingly quickly, which is fantastic. Screen looks nice, friends are very jealous. All in all, i consider this to have been an item for my jeep worth the extra buck.Install was straightforward and easy. Dont forget to get a wiring harness! It has lots of features that i dont use for my current vehicle (back up cam, etc.), but i am sure that this deck will be following me around for a while.

GREAT SET!
Bandz that make her dance! Slap this set in your car and play whatever tune you have and it will have the ladies dancing! It sounds incredible and has a MOFSET 4x4 amp built in. Great set but the software could use some work. I noticed that it has limited app availability.

Love this stereo
Love this stereo, it totally updated my Jeep with the touch screen, blue tooth and Pandora! I bought the back up camera and brake bypass but have yet to install it.
