Amazing for first time grower!
Pictures are as follows:5 days in10 days in14 days in (this is the only bare spot visible. This jar has about 3cc of spores)Pre innoculating; opening boxI bought these instead of having to buy each and every single thing individually. The jars, creating the tedious lids, the other BRF mix ingredients, sanitizing correctly, getting moisture right, the whole 9 yards.Price wise, it comes out to be about the same, if not a little cheaper I believe. Its highly depending on where you are buying all the products and if you already have some of the stuff.Zero contamination issues. I was worried at first since this is my first go, but I've had absolutely no problems. Everything is going swimmingly.I noticed after a week one of the lids was on a little loose, so I tightened it. This hasn't affected anything.Great moisture control. I can see moisture build up on the sides of the jars, and it's been over two weeks now. So it retains moisture well.I want to say that they might have a little too much material inside, if you wanted to shake them to break the spawn apart then there isn't much room for that, but there is some. Maybe a quarter inch? Take that with a grain of salt. This hasn't been an issue for me at all, but I know some people like to shake the jars for speedy spreading. I have not done this.Method:I sanitized the jars and self healing ports (not the breathing port) with 70% isopropyl. I used a sterile needle, sanitizing each self healing port and letting it dry before I stuck it. For half of the jars (6 of them) I did not sterilize the needle between jars, but I still sterilized the self healing ports. These jars have done absolutely fine. The other 6 jars I sterilized the needle with the isopropyl and a clean paper towel. These jars have done just as good.I recommend a good 2.5-3cc of liquid spores per jar unless you want to wait an eternity. The ones I put a lower 2cc, or less into have been lagging behind the other jars some. There are only 2 jars that have around 2cc or less, but they are still coming along nicely, just slower. The average temperature for the first week was around 65-73°F, then I moved them (kept in the box they were shipped in) to the top of my fridge where the average temperature has been 70-77°F. The mycelium has spread quicker since the move. In the next few days, they will be ready for the fruiting chamber. They do come with paper instructions as well, so if you ever feel unsure or don't really know or remeber what to do, you can refer to the paper.

Exactly as advertised
Product works as intended. Haven’t had any issues with contamination. Some of the jars may be slightly dryer than the subject prefers, but I just injected a couple cc’s of sterile water in towards the end and it was fine. Ordered another batch because my success rate with the 12 pack was 100%Second batch had a broken jar and a couple with dented lids, but looked like more of a shipping issue. Seller was quick to replace broken product, no issues there at allOver all, I’ve been very happy with these jars. Would order again in the future. These are exactly what PF Tek calls for

100% Colonization - Again
You could spend a lot of time and money making and sterilizing your own jars or let a professional do it for you for a very fair price, considering the amount of knowledge and care it takes to produce them. I’ve done both and I’ll never make my own jars again. I’ve wasted hundreds of dollars on another vendors jars which all developed mold. I’ve used OutGrow exclusively now for a year and have never had one jar grow mold or fail to colonize. Each jar comes wrapped in bubble wrap and the box is filled with packing peanuts. Never had a jar show up cracked. Procure some 90% rubbing alcohol, wipe the injection port, inject spores towards the wall of the jar, remove the needle and wipe with alcohol and repeat. Make sure you wear gloves, a face mask and spray air sanitizer before you start your project. The best way to do it is under the range hood in your kitchen with the fan on its highest setting. This will suck up any airborne bacteria away from the jars as you inoculate. Highly recommended for people who love gardening or growing their own food.

Dented lids dirty filters no label over filled
Dented & partly rusted lids vermiculite & brown rice flour on filter's. Slightly over filled poorly shipped. I was hoping to see a better quality product but the only improvement I'm seeing is in the pictures. Last time I ordered rye grain half of fermenting in the other half of bird seed not even the right grain with damaged bags. & I was never refunded for them or a larger order of brf bag's that had somuch brf & gypsum they was stone. I'm leaving 2 starts 1 will be taken away if i see any contamination over 25% & with dirty particulate filters I'll be surprised if they do well. They shafted me last couple time's I ordered yrs ago but I'm trying to be fair regardless. I can make my substrates I get lazy & give places a chance to capitalize on my laziness but they just want a cash grab. I found the small orders was good when they first started but I wouldn't touch a bulk product from them especially if you are a newb. I'm not going to argue with these bums like last time. The review is in & I'm not going to be treated as if I'm looking for a handout. If I don't see 8 out of 12 healthy fully colonized cakes I'll be removing a star & pointing out every minute detail of what could be done better.I forgot I never updated this. The cake's was mostly vermiculite and hardly any brown rice flour. They produced a half flush and cake's was tost. Every single 1: with substrate on the lid & filters got contaminated. I've done this a long time and always have a 100% success rate when I make my own cake's. I used the same lot of spore's on cake's I made after these & they was perfect. I was being lazy & I paid for it because this place definitely doesn't honor there guarantee. Outgrow products are a scam
