Functional and Pretty
Looks great and could be used as a serving board if desired. I love the size, thickness and weight. It's great for most jobs. The finish seems to be pretty durable. Yes. It will show cut marks, but it's a cutting board. It's not suppose to stay perfect.

A Beautiful Cutting Board for a Unique Purpose!
I purchased the AIDEA "Cutting Board" to raise my new Toaster Oven enough so that when I open the door, it opens to a full 90 degrees. Without it, it doesn't open all the way because the handle hits the counter. With relatively small Toaster Oven openings its important to have complete access so you don't take a chance on burning your arm on the hot door. It was the perfect color to blend with my cabinets. I had already purchased the cutting board on top to protect my cabinets from the heat. It came with attached silicone feet and designed for exactly this function. For the same price I could have instead purchased the AIDEA Cutting Board for an exact match and added my own silicone feet, but I had already stained the top board so will leave things as they are...As far as using the AIDEA Cutting Board to cut on? Yes, it will self destruct in no time because you will be destroying it's beautiful finish. If you found my review helpful please hit the button! Happy Shopping!!

I wish it was thicker
I have to say that this cuttijg board was very useful for me at the beginning, however while the time passed, the color became darker and darker, I am not sure why. I also I wish it was more thicker because it is hard to cut some food which required a lot of strengh to cut it. Wear and tear is obviously after time using it, but it can be improved in the mentioned aspects. Overall , the product is not bad.

It's not even hard wood. Not worth the money.
I purchased this as a hardwood cutting board. As you can see it is not dark hard wood. It's various softwoods glued together and then rubbed with a dark stain. You won't know that until you've used it for a while. Seller is deceptive!

How gorgeous can a cutting board be?
I stopped buying bamboo because all the mineral oil in the world won't keep it from splitting

Beautiful, but wood damaged easily, hard to dry
The cutting boards were beautiful, just for looking, no use. I bought this cutting board only use to cut fruits. These pictures I was showing, were my first-time use, and it already damaged the board, you can see the scratches. Also, I don't what type of oil the manufactory put on, it was so hard to dry, which makes me scared to use it. I do hanging the cutting board, after washing it, after 40mins, still has water drops on the board. ( in the 3rd picture)I do not recommend to buy it.

Good Quality
It's a really nice cutting board well made, substantial and easy on the knives (unlike bamboo).I had been looking for a med/large cutting board which had a convenient handle - this one is perfect. Not too heavy that makes it difficult to hold - especially if you want to direct chopped food directly into a pot - yet it is 3/4 of inch thick and solidly absorbs all your chopping action. I have been using it and I am very pleased.

It's beautiful
It's beautiful and exactly like it is pictured. So far I am please. Sturdiness remains to be seen as I have only had it a few months.

Great cutting board
Great cutting board with a nice brown color. The only problem is that the color is painted on and after a few cuts the color faded.

Should be better than bamboo
This one to replace my old bamboo chopping board that split apart into pieces. It feels a bit lighter than I anticipated and (again sadly) it was made by gluing four or five pieces of wood together. It's made in Vietnam and has a rich dark brown colour but it turned out to be varnish and not the natural colour of the wood! It came off slowly and gradually exposing the light brown of the bare wood. Let's hope that after eating so much of the varnish this one will at least last longer than my bamboo board before the four, five pieces decide to separate.
