Really excellent for the price.
Really excellent for the price. Having misplaced my Sony charger, flat batteries and a shoot the next day, I purchased this for next day delivery. Item arrived before 11am next day. To my surprise it included 2 equivalent NP-70 batteries. Charger works fine and very compact. Only USB charging but means u can use a power pack. Would highly recommend. Can't say what included battery life is as haven't used yet.

Power connector broken on arrival
USB connector was attached to the USB cable instead of the charger. Looks like the USB cable was plugged in when packaged and the connector snapped off during shipping. If this is the build quality of the connector then there is no way I'd risk leaving this plugged in unattended. The unit has been returned for a full refund.

Good replacement's
I got these as spares for my video camera, they work perfectly, no issues, the charger works a treat.

Not so good
Not very good. The battery’s don’t last as long as the original and the charger sometimes doesn’t charge the batteries!

Exactly as described
Essential for any video cam which relies on charging in the camera

Almost great
I would have given this a 5 star review, but upon arrival one of the two batteries received would not accept any charge and I had to return the whole purchase, as there was no partial return/refund option. This is hassle, as not all carriers like to accept lithium-ion batteries. The charger and other battery performed fine. As can be seen in the photos, the Durapro battery is about 7mm smaller than the original Sony NP-FV70A battery taken from my Sony AX53 camcorder. The Durapro weighs less at 72.2g vs 88.6g for the Sony. After fully charging, the Durapro promised around 2 hours 24 min (sometimes 2 hours 30 min) available recording time of 4k video shown on my camcorder display, compared to 2 hours 40 min for the Sony original. I am sceptical of the Durapro claimed capacity of 2500mAh (more likely around 1800mAh) compared to the Sony original capacity of 1900mAh. However, in a test using the Durapro and just letting the camcorder record sat on a desk with almost no zoom use, I achieved 2 hours 34 mins 4k video recording time which is a very respectable result, especially considering the price. The charger is very small and lightweight. I noticed that the Durapro charger will charge a battery (Sony or Durapro) for a further 20 minutes even if it was already fully charged using the camcorder's charging, but this didn't seem to translate into any more promised recording time on the camcorder display. It would have been interesting to see what life span the Durapro batteries achieved, and I might reorder and try my luck again in the future.

Battery life not displayed
A good replacement for the proper Sony battery, but the main issue - and it will be crucial for some users - is that battery life is not properly displayed. This is clearly very important if you're about to shoot important things like weddings; you don't want to have the bride and groom emerge from the church in a highlight of their event and your battery pegs it!
