SO COOL IT HURTS IN THE STYLE AND DESIGN
So cool and made for use. I love the vortex style of this spear head. It makes sense that a spiral blade would make for a nice trajectory for this tactical spear. I am not planning on hunting anything with this beauty; but the price is immediately justified by the overall design and just the unique essence that it brings when hung on the wall or taken down and shared with your other cool or just interested buddies or all who can dig the future and ancient elements within this piece.

5 stars on principle
no idea if its meant to be functional or not. handle feels a little flimsy to me and a bit thinner than i would like but, i bought it as a curio and wall-hanger anyway. happy with it. no complaints

Had one and I loved it, flesh drillbit
I converted my m48 cyclone tridagger into a Boar spear Thor himself wid have loved it. I decorated it with the top half of a mini pterodactyl skull, almost like skeletors septar

Some neat design ideas; handle is terrible; blade is limited in applications
This is neat idea -- a short fighting spear; but there's problems:The handle is the big one...the grip is plastic with a couple of (poorly) defined finger/hand holds. If sweat/blood are involved (this is a spear, correct?) then this thing will slip all over the place. Not good -- especially in life and death.M48 has great products -- their tomahawk is very good, and a great buy for the money. (Although a better buy, and what I ended up with, is the Browning Shock n Awe.)But this spear is essentially a conversation piece.Get Cold Steel's boar spear -- or the Reapr Javelin...even M48's other spear is better, but you'll have the same (fatal) issues with the handle. This is a major design flaw in all M48 products, imho.

Very dull blades
I'm very disappointed in how dull the blades are.For this price it should be razor sharp.

Love it!
Looks good and feels strong. The edges aren't sharp, but look at it... if you're trying to cut, slash or slice, get a blade with less than 3 edges.
