Star Wars Black Series 6" Luke Wampa Figure

I wanted these figures for a long while, but couldn't find it in my budget to purchase them, until recently--and they didn't disappoint! I've stated this a million times to a great many people, but I cannot emphasize enough how much I love and admire the Black Series figures, and Hoth Luke Skywalker and Wampa Creature epitomize what the Black Series is all about. At first glance, it is apparent that these figures are not only well packaged, beautifully sculpted, and detailed, but that they are also as well made as they look, as is evidenced when holding them in your hands!The Wampa Creature is awesome! He is heavy to hold, perhaps as heavy as the 18" inch Yoda figure which is known for its girth, and Wampa only stands about 8" in comparison. Points of articulation include rotating head, wrists, elbows, knees, feet, waist in two places. Legs and arms move up and down--this figure is fully movable and you'll have fun posing him. The right arm is detachable at the shoulder and is held together by a large peg similar to the pegs one finds on stands for displaying figures. Once removed, blood is visible on the amputated arm as well as on the shoulder. Blood drips and stains the Wampa Creature's teeth, mouth, chin, and chest, his yellow nose, gray protruding horns, and gray claws give him life. I could spend hours writing about this figure, but you'll just have to open the package and hold him in your hands to learn what makes it such a great addition to your collection.6" Luke Skywalker in Hoth gear has plenty of detailing to make him worth purchasing. Like all of the Black Series figures, he is completely posable--rotating head, wrists, waist. Bends at shoulders, elbows, knees, feet, with arms and legs which move up and down. His lightsaber can be held in hand, or (with blade removed) can hang on a hook from his utility belt. His blaster may remain in the holster around his waist, or may be held. Battle scars adorn the right side of his face, emblems of his service to the Rebel Alliance are clearly defined upon his uniform, and a radio transmitter is attached to his hat.Such a great duo--worth the money, worth adding to your collection, and be prepared to let others hold them in their hands, because visitors will be drawn to them, and because they are fun to share and to hold! If you desire to collect creatures from Star Wars, there are no figures greater than the Black Series Taun Taun and Wampa Creature.

This is a great set for any collector! I got these as a gift for a friend, and he absolutely loved them and was blown away by the detail. In my opinion, these are some of the best figures in the whole Black Series. The Wampa’s arm is even removable, so you can recreate the famous scene in ESB! You won’t be disappointed in this set!

Fantastic art work and the Wampa is so detailed. You're going to love this piece. I think it ranks up there next to my Jabba SDCC figure. A great price point and awesome art work on each character. Love the removable arm on the Wampa.

Great figures. Only downside is that the Wampa's arms one is a ball joint which can move up down left and right but the other arm is a post joint and moves only up and down. But still great looking figures

This is one of my favorites in the black series and is very detailed. This is probably one of the best collectible series yet.

Luke is the standard black series frame, but it does look good. The wampa is pretty cool, but the joint articulation is definitely lacking. However, it is black series so it looks best on the shelf like the rest of them.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. I was a bit surprised by the price until I saw them in person. They are really nice, large, well made, very finely detailed collectible toys. Not your average action figure....these are very good quality collectible toys.

This figure set is an absolute must for any Star Wars fan and collector--it is very substantial and well made, and it looks fantastic! The shipping and packaging was great also--lots of bubble wrap and no damage to the box.
