Erector Empire State Building set

This is the second time I bought this set. The first time everything was perfect, not a missing piece among hundreds. I just received my second set, laid it all on the table hoping I would finish in a couple of days, and what do you know, many parts are missing. I called them, and they were very polite and responsive and sent the parts in the mail (another 10 days...). Other than that it is a great toy for kids, and a great decorational piece when it is assembled.

received in perfect xmas giving shape. item from young life seller was new and factory sealed as should be.as for erector set itself, theres not much to say other than its an erector set with tons of tiny pieces that require patiences to build.i would not buy for anyone under 13 or anyone that cannot sit still long personally, its more for a grown adult that still likes to build things IMO.

Really fun for 9 year old and adult to do together. Instructions are terrible.

was missing 12 pieces and can't put is all together with out them.

So, we first started out trying to get the toy out of the box. Impossible ! You have to destroy the box to get it open, even the box is so poorly constructed. Inside, the cheap carbon holding the pieces was torn in attempts to open. Then of course I saw the key words "MADE IN CHINA". Have not even started to play and already want to return it, but of course you can't now that the box is destroyed. Save your money! A total rip-off.

My son loves Legos and puzzles and we thought he would love this. He worked on it for several days and got about halfway before quitting. It's just very time-consuming to assemble and requires great manual dexterity. More of an adult item.
