I have installed nine of these so far. They work well but are a bit tricky to install.

Works Fine. A little hard to get the measurements right though. Take your time and measure carefully.

Like others have said, the product is great, the instructions that came with it were useless and in conflict with the directions on their website. I would recommend anyone that purchases this immediately throw out the instructions and go to the manufacturers website for updated directions.

Im a seasoned woodworker, this was a pain to install. Instructions were poor. Who measures to 1/64 to drill by hand? It appears the mnf translated metric to 64ths which leads to some odd numbers. Moreover, the unit doesnt slow the lid down, so it's worthless.

NOTE: I had to throw out the instructions that came with this product as they did not allow the closer to work. It took a little bit of figuring, and a few unwanted holes, but once I had it, I was blown away by how good they worked. Best closer I've used. Just needs better instructions.

See that bracket that the arm hooks into? It contains a cheap plastic bushing that will break. I had one break in half after having to take the unit on and off a few times during installation. Another one very nearly broke the first time I put it in. Luckily I was able to push it back in. The instructions could use a lot of improvement also. Once you get it installed it works well. I'm just worried that that plastic is going to break in a few months.

They work great! Easy to install.
