I normally don't order something without a decent number of reviews and a good rating but I decided given the price I would take a chance, so far I am glad I did.The unit has worked fine and doesn't seem to get quite as hot as the factory psupply or the other off-brand one I have. I have used this unit on Compaq, Dell, and Lenovo laptops with no problems at all. I cannot comment on the usb power connection as I have not had a need to use it yet.

Failed after less than a year. Otherwise I would have loved it. There are multiple other adapters available http://www.amazon.com/Generic-Universal-5-5x2-1mm-Adapter-Notebook/dp/B00CMMO6AE/ref=pd_bxgy_147_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=18N51RM45BDNE7678985. It worked as a great tool in my computer repair business for awhile. I am just going to get another transformer and uses this cord and all the adapters after splicing.

The adaptor works just fine for my HP Pavillion laptop. You can't beat the price. The only drawback is that the cord is a little shorter than I would like.

heats up fast if i put the voltage up too far but works for three out of five of my laptops. i lost all my cords in a move and this thing is perfect for me

Has every pin for a laptop you could think of, but it feels cheap. The usb port was a very good adition to the product.

It stated it was comparable to my lap top and was not .....do I dare try again for anther one

Works well and came with all of the parts, I would only hope that they will invest in a small holding tray in the future for all the small bits.Price was more than fair. Something you may want to note is that this is an average amperage adapter. I did not test it with a lower amperage laptop but on the 3 that I tested on over 3 amps it would boot the device but not have enough overhead to actually charge the batteries.
