Good quality, but I’ll never understand why these aren’t just included with the backpack.

Padding could be thicker.
I measured my gear first. And they fit. It keeps the buckle from digging into arm pits. The little black keeper keeps the pads centered. The snap-keepers will only wrap around one pack-strap. It's not able to wrap around the doubled section of the pack-straps. I wish they had tan in this size.

Doesn't provide much cushion
Since the straps on Kanken backpack are pretty thin, I purchased these pads for additional cushion and comfort. The straps really don't make a whole lot of difference especially for the price.
