Martha Stewart Crafts M232301 Himalayan Snowflake Punch, Punches 1-3/4-Inch, Large

I LOVE this punch. I'm using it to make Christmas gift tags and gift-card holders. Most of the snowflakes are perfect, but I havehad a few that just get stuck in the punch and tare. You have to practice a bit. Use a the right paper, not to flimsy or it will tear and not too firm or it won't cut. I use Martha Stewart craft paper and other craft paper.This really is a beautiful punch and looks so attractive that it could be given as a gift all by itself. My daughter, grand daughter and even my five year old grandson love to punch and make little paper crafts. The snowflake is a favorite.

Martha's paper punches do provide nice, crisp edges on standard card stock and on glittered paper but I find that their handle design slows me down considerably. I have a card, tag, and confetti business and it is not unusual for me to punch 800 pieces in one sitting. Martha's punches with this handle design often require me to punch with the tool resting on the table for leverage. If you are a casual user, they will be perfect but I prefer a punch that I can use one-handed, in a rapid-fire motion and this design simply does not allow that.

Makes Beautiful snowflakes.. but very hard to push down and sometimes paper gets caught in it and tears.. or would have given it 5 stars....... I like to use glossy photo paper for this, so the flakes are shiny and sturdy... good to glue them on to cards for winter...

I purchased this stamp to make Christmas cards but was disappointed when it arrived. The stamp was truly large - much too large for the card design I had in mind. Only one snowflake can realistically fit on the card. I guess my disappointment is more with the varying sizing between scrapbooking/cardmaking items than the punch itself. The snowflake pattern itself is one of the prettiest I've seen, I just wasn't expecting it to be quite so large.

Does not always cut fully through the paper. Also the size of the snowflakes is a bit smaller than expected.

Overall, it's a good, sturdy punch that cuts with clean edges. I found it could be tricky once-in-a-while to remove the paper left behind after punching a snowflake. The intricate edges where the snowflake was punched out sometimes got caught. However, the more I got accustomed to using the punch, the fewer problems I had getting the paper out.

I bought this for my craft-loving little girl and it does its job of cutting paper. It's heavy and nice quality and I think it will hold up for many years.

I used this for my Christmas cards this year. The snowflake is lovely and a very nice size -- both for use on or in the cards as well as on the outside of the envelopes (as long as you don't mind the hassle of trying to apply glue to lots of very thin areas)! So "winter," so cheerful, so fun!

Punch is adorable, no complaints about it.. But I was charged extra five hundred rupees during delivery and they said that those were custom charge, but on the other hand I was already charged while buying this punch.
