Good car app not so much
So it's a hot wheels car with an RFID in it so if you activate NFC on your phone and out the car next to it the car appears on your available cars to use on a hot wheels app. I've only tried the app once but it wouldn't work properly and after 20 minutes messing around trying to authorise the app on settings I have up. The car is cool, the box is brilliant but when you can get 5 top wheels cars for less than £2 more it's hard to see the point unless you are collecting them.

Great to add to the hot wheels I’d collection and your able to down load the car on to the app.

Couldn't scan them (I have NFC) but really cool looking expansion to Hot Wheels experience
These new hot wheels ID cars have been brought out to add an extra interactive element to the simple pleasure of firing/pushing/dropping cars down the plastic tracks and range of sets. Now I have to admit, I've spent quite a long time and several attempts at using the app to scan the barcodes on the underneath of the cars. Each time I press the relevant scan icon on the app it just brings up a little animation showing how to scan a car....but it stays on that screen and never allows me to actually do it...all I can do is go back to the main menu. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and have checked that NFC is turned on...I'm fairly tech savvy but can't work out what the issue is.So I'm limited to commenting on the cars themselves which are very good examples from the hot wheels range. Very sporty and lovely metallic paint. I got 2 as I thought the idea would be that you can track how they race together but you seemingly need special track for this (which makes perfect sense when you think about it).Not sure what the issue is with the app but I played the racing game and it's pretty fun, the idea being that you push left and right who the occasional boost and try to avoid catching the sides as this slows you down.I'll be honest, I don't really want my 7 year old to be obsessing over yet another app on his phone so I'm going to just add these cars into his normal hot wheels collection, which makes them an expensive option but if you're looking to expand your hot wheels experience then this looks like a really cool idea.
