Works Great
This does work with alienware R5/4 ive been trying 240w adapters but they all reverted to battery... ive tried modernwarfare today and no probs so we shall see later... works with Half Life Alyx with no issues no reverting to battery like most AAA games have with a 240 watt... dells specs for the r4 is 4amps but this 1.5 works fine for me... have fun gaming

Does not work
I bought one of these. No light came on when plugged in. No power to the device. So I swapped it. Second one had the SAME problem. I tried swapping the power code (from charger to wall) and the light lit up and I got device power. But I would never trust a device from a company that can build a cord to take 125V power from the wall to their charger. Wow.

Had issues
When I tried to plug in the power cord into the power supply it went together to easily and when I plugged it all together it wouldn't work luckily I had a extra power cord and tried it and it worked

Short lifespan
We purchased 12 of these as additional power supplies for our users. So far of the 12, 3 have failed after a month of use. This seems like I high rate of failure. Since it has been 90 days, we are not able to return the defective units.

Not 330w
Needed for Alienware w/GTX1080 8Gb. Power adapter warning activated using this rebranded 240w unit. AVOID THIS UNIT!!! NOT TRUE 330W Would have given ZERO stars, but not an option. Simple robbery, is what this is!
