Snap-On reintroduced their old 36 tooth technology (which was more durable than todays 80 tooth ratchet) by rebranding them in the Williams line. Basically a Snap-On ratchet for a 1/4 of the price. Handle is very solid and works well. Not fine tooth, but can handle tight and tough fasteners. A good buy.

Awesome ratchet. Very high quality. It's awesome that you can buy a made in the US tool that can out proform any home depot or harbor frieght ratchet and still purchase it cheaper than their equivalent. Mine was scuffed up due to shipping which is not a big deal because it's going to get marked up the minute I first use it.

What a great value these ratchets are: they are solidly built, the mechanisms are tight, and the chrome looks great.I own the 3/8" drive, 1/2" drive, and 3/8" drive flex head.Ratcheting mechanism is 36 tooth. From my research, these ratchets use the same innards as the discontinued Snap-on 36 tooth. I like these Williams better than my Craftsman USA ratchets which are also 36 tooth.Unless you really need more teeth for working in really tight spots, these ratchets are an excellent choice. Especially if you're looking for a domestic USA made ratchet.

This is a very heavy duty ratchet. No small flimsy parts on the inside. I've had trouble with the selector falling out on classic proto clones. A problem this ratchet design makes impossible. Crazy amount of grease in the new ratchet. I could see it humming up the works in real cold weather. Anyways it's a beast.

I ordered this long handle 36 tooth pear head ratchet and received a 72 tooth round head. I don’t like round head ratchets but I do like the tooth count. Its a push i guess. I will keep it but just a heads up. It appears to be well made and is still made in the USA so I am happy.

Strong for very tough bolts and length for good leverage. Definitely a serious tool. A Snap On ratchet for a Gearwrench price!!

Excellent quality and value

got the 1/2 inch long ratchet on time from industrial supply through amazon- about a week and a half. Just an awesome finish. This is a 36 tooth design that feels great when working with it. Its a beautiful piece that has the snap on SL936 internals. Only minor difference between the SL936 and this looks to be just a little difference in the handle and obviously, the name stamp. so, just an aweome price if you look at it as buying a brand new old snap on ratchet.
