Just realize these are essentially disposable towels
So, these are actually great towels at a great price as long as you fully realize what you are purchasing. You really need to treat these as disposable towels and not towels that you plan to wash and reuse. Don't get me wrong, if you lightly use these and then hand wash them (please do not stick filthy shop towels in your home washing machine) then you can probably get more use out of them, but I think the idea is that you use a towel until it is "done" and then just toss it and for that purpose these are excellent.I included a few pictures so you can see what to expect. The picture of the stack of towels is literally 50 towels so you can get an idea of how thin they are. Personally, I pretty much expected disposable towels at this price point so I am not disappointed in any way. I will keep ordering these and won't really worry about how quickly I use them up since the price is on point.

prefect for whelping puppies
I bought this for my puppy whelping kit and it worked perfectly! came sterile and ready to use to clean off the puppies. I had a ton left after all the puppies were born so I used them to wipe mamas nipples off after going outside before feeding her pups

I'm trying to stop using paper products...period - these help A LOT
With an assortment of various rags, cloth napkins, and these towels, I've been able to reduce my paper product usage to just what I keep for guests in the house (there's always TP available in the Lavatory, but the house members try not to use it).Got these recycled cotton "rags" in three colors. Blue for general purpose wiping and cleaning (replacing paper towels) in kitchen, shop, bathroom, general house cleaning, auto, etc. White, to take the place of napkins. (I use nicer cloth napkins for dinners for us and for company). And, red for toilet wipes. After the third or fourth wash (I bleach and wash in hot water) they become very soft and absorbent, and dry on "sanitize". I have 50 of each color which is a few weeks' worth. Usually, I wash weekly so there's always a supply on hand. I wash and bleach them separately (or with other white-load items) and that's it. Fold, put them where they'll be handy in Kitchen, shop, car, bath, art room, etc. The only thing I use paper products, for now, is keeping TP in the bathrooms for company and as needed for No. 2 for us (it's still easier to use regular toilet paper for that once-a-day thing, although we are evaluating our position on that). It saves a bunch of money. With paper towels at $2 a roll, toilet paper not far behind, and having gone through as many as 3 or 4 of each in a day, that and now not paying for more than a roll or two of toilet paper per week, not using paper napkins, etc. saves us a couple of $1,000 a year. We're not flushing our cash down the drain. And, we feel good about doing what we can to help save trees that can help save the environment for our children and grandchildren.Even those who don't believe there is a climate crisis should consider reevaluating their use of disposable paper products. Isn't being practical and frugal as in "saving money" a good thing? These recycled cotton items are not pretty, but they work, and for a family trying to make ends meet, and people who are tiring to be part of the solution instead of wallowing in the problem, these are a very reasonable option.Good luck all.

May buy more
In trying to get away from using so many paper towels, I got these to leave in a bin in the kitchen. I maintain a separate laundry bucket for them. We use them in lieu of paper towels to dry hands, clean up spills, apply disinfectant to surfaces, etc. They are not quite as absorbent as paper towels, but more eco-friendly. They wash well and have held up nicely after multiple launderings. Some are cut a little crooked and don't fold into a nice square, but my OCD will get over it. Definitely recommend for those looking to get away from paper products.

Two time use
These rags are more flimsy than expected. I the as only able to get one or two uses out of each tag. They also release a blue dye the first time you use them. They are fine but if you’re wanting to reuse it over and over I would look elsewhere.

Good buy
I own and operate a woodworking business, and these shop towels come in handy for cleanups as well as for applying wax finishes.

Very small, thin material...cheap
Ordered thinking I was getting a good product for window washing. Have bought this type of blue rag in the past at another store, they came in at 1/2 the size and material is extremely thin and all the rags are somewhat frayed around the edges, these won't last more than a few washings before needing to be throwing out. Not a good product at all.

Old School
These are the real deal. The shop rags that have been used since there have been shops to use them in. They have a different cloth stitch than the red version, making them softer and more absorbent. They are not microfiber. These are what you're looking for.
