Destruction but the fight goes on
Great script and actions galore.Lots of machine gore and invisibility prevails - John Connor meets his destiny and his young dad to boot, well what do you know.It makes sense why critics hailed this undesirable, due to the twists and steering the emphasis on a future before the aspired future plot, pre-post apocalyptic. The unthinkable, a machine encompassing a human heart and clearly psycho-stimulatores to confuse the cyborg into playing the unique agent, conditioned into bringing the renegades home to super-hyway machine-net for destruction. A feat no T-800's accomplished. The finest I leave you t fully assimilate in your own good time. Its a fun plot, not compromising on the mega-destruction, fights and machine surviving entombed in liquid metal, its manufactured from . :)(:

A clever sidestep from the main storyline
Yet again, I really enjoyed the film which the critics hated and which fans of the series would rather forget...Perhaps that's cos this one sidsteps the main plot and dares not to 'reimagine' the original story all over again. So no sending a Terminator back to kill John or Sarah Connor, no cuddly tame T800, not a lot of Arnie in fact.Instead the story is set entirely in a post-apocalyptic future, before John Connor has become the leader of the resistance, before he's met Kyle Reese - before, even, the T800 has been unleashed.Instead, there's an entirely different interpretation of stealth Terminator, a clever spin on the notion of machine-thinks-it's-man / man-less-human-than-machine riff. Yes, an original plotline. No wonder everyone hated it.And lots of military hardware thrashing and clashing, funky autonomous motorbikes, and Helena Bonham Carter as the embodiment of SkyNet.Honestly. What's not to like?8/10

A worthy addition to the franchise.
I really liked this film. I’ve read reviews saying it was too fast paced and didn’t let up, well that’s modern action films for you. Also, the the two main leads were apparently indistinguishable. I didn’t think so. Well worth the time and money.

great addition to the series
Compared to the 2 recent terrible additions to the franchise, this movie is a great action flick, and light years better than what came after it, they should have followed this up, still a good film on its own.

Decent Action Flick, Poor Terminator Flick
It has an interesting premise but ultimately falls short of delivering on anything other than another action flick. It’s not a bad action film, but it is nothing when compared to T1 and T2.Like most of the terminator sequels it has plot holes to enable itself into being, it retcons the future as previously shown to be more modern-day possible, the problem being we don’t have super AI’s designing things today so why would you hold yourself to this level? It insists that the random actions of one of the protagonists are all part of some calculated scheme when it’s evident that they could not have been. And it introduces an idea of Skynet tricking the resistance with zero explanation as to how the trick worked at all. That being said, everything outside of the plot is pretty good, acting, music, effects and the creativity in it of bringing a post-apocalyptic warzone of a world to life. And for all its flaws, the plot holes in it are less annoyingly obvious than some of those in other terminator sequels. So if you just want an action movie then this isn’t a bad call, it will scratch the itch. But when using the Terminator name, I feel a little more is owed than just that. I'd give it 3 and a half stars if possible, but Amazon doesn't do half stars.

Great Remake
This film is better than the Originals.

Sadly misjudged movie.
Liked it from the first time I saw it. Still good a few views later. It doesn't reach the heights of T2, but not many movies will. Salvation is full of goodies though.

UK version is all region
For both Blu-Ray & 4K UHD Blu-Ray in this package. 4K UHD Blu-Rays have no region encoding. This is common knowledge among techs & was also confirmed to me by Universal Pictures when I bought one of their 4K Blu-Rays at a local store & it had several countries age ratings on it. The Blu-Ray has an "ABC" region encoding mark shown in picture near lower left corner of rear of case beside the Sony Pictures Home Entertainment logo which confirms it's also all region. Thank you Amazon! I missed this release because it came out just after my dad died in my arms & it's sold out here in the States. 5 solid stars. Cherrio!

THIS 4K RELEASE IS REGION FREE!
I’ve seen some people saying it’s region 2 because it’s from the UK, but it’s not true and not to worry. The 4k disc and the standard Blu-ray that comes with this are both region free. The movie looks good in 4k and is worth picking up however I will say it is a bit disappointing not having the directors cut here but I wouldn’t make that a deal breaker if you’re looking to buy this. It is worth the money

**Beware** returns only accepted if factory sealed and you pay to ship back. Even when defective.
Defective disk, movie stopped every 2 minutes. Seller accepted return request, but fine print said they only gave returns for items still factory sealed and I have to pay to ship it back. I emailed seller 14 days ago saying there was no way for me to return it factory sealed, as disc is defective and inquired why I have to pay to ship it back for a defective product, I already paid shipping to me. No response. So stuck paying $30+ for a defective movie that will go in trash. ***BEWARE***
