What you see is what you get
You ask, HP delivers. If you're not thinking in gaming and your thing is web browsing, office working, listening to some music or even watch a movie in a decent no-1080-15Gb-hyperHD-3D quality this computer is for you.Bought it for my father and came up great, specially if you think about the price: 300 bucks is a rocking deal!Optional-controversial-Protip: Upgrade it with a SSD or even a WD Caviar 2 (120G SSD + 1000G HDD, single drive), that can enhance you loading and booting speeds, but have in mind that your bottleneck is the processor, and you might end up spending 60-70% of the value of the computer in a new hard drive. Choices, choices...Anyway, it's a great deal for working and studying, and let's face it, if you wanted more firepower you should've spent a few more bucks in a higher profile laptop. What you see is what you get.

Good basic HP PC, but you def. get what you pay for (some sluggish performance here)
Well I've been using this new Pavilion for the past month or so, I like itexcept, for some reason, I have this PC mainly plugged into a good solidpair of USB studio Alesis monitor speakers, and I am noticing that I get someminor media playing dropouts and stuttering whilst playing stuff on YouTube,or even Spotify Premium. This isn't too great. I know this isn't a $1500computer, but my previous couple of HPs did not have this issue. Almostseems like a latency thing. I'm not entirely sure. I'm going to try to bumpup the machine's buffer, if possible, and see if that helps and report backat a later date. Otherwise, the machine's fine for my purposes but I reallyprefer a PC with some good high-end audio performance, no latency issues, and no browser sluggishness issues. I notice this PC is not really up tohandling multiple apps. or tasks very well, or very quickly.Again, otherwise, I think it's a good machine, but slow performanceand latency issues and media dropouts are not too great if you're usingthe machine for mainly those type of applications. Otherwise, it's quiet, sleek, thin, not a heavy footprint, keyboard is pretty good, screen is sharpand nice and large, and setup was easy enough. I think it's overall a good valuefor the money, but I guess in future I plan to spend the extra few hundredor whatever, and get a really high-end multimedia PC, and/or MacBook, etc.

The HD is very nice, and now it performs the basics
The HD is very nice, and now it performs the basics, but I seems that it was loaded with viruses and I paid a lot of money to get it cleaned up. Even now, it isn't all that fast. I had to buy Microsoft Office, as that wasn't loaded as the basic package. Microsoft 8.1 has some interesting features, but took a bit of getting used to.

This is a beautiful laptop from the outside look
This is a beautiful laptop from the outside look....but what i dont like about it the keys are complicated i have to press down hard on it, when i am playing candy crush i cannot click on the candy itself I have to click to the side of the candy which confuses the game because most time its the wrong candy. Unlike other laptop I used in the past this one just weird. And it running slow.
