To keep it simple, this is a time saver! I frequently have to measure tall ceilings and large rooms. This allows me to do the ceilings without a ladder and allows me to do the rooms without a rolling tape measure.They've got the science/math in this thing down to a "T" because it is extremely accurate when compared to my standard tape measure. I don't even have to double check my work with a standard tape measure anymore. The laser allows for pinpoint accuracy because you know exactly where you're getting the measurement from.It acts as a level, too, which is super convenient.It's small and durable (think of a Nokia phone) and the screen is crystal clear. There's a spot on the back to mount it to a tripod.It's 2019, stop using standard tape measures and stop wasting time. Get this laser measure, you won't regret it!

I was hesitant about this at first for such an inexpensive price but it has proved itself to be very accurate. My husband is a contractor and does gutters, roofs, decks.... He has not had a problem with the measurements at all. You can even buy a stand through Amazon to keep It completely level and move around without getting an inaccurate reading . Comes with a case and fits right in his pocket! It's amazing what this little level can measure...even the circumference of a house, angles, and has a digital memory so you can refer back to it without the hassle of writing it down. Definitely a great find and you can't beat the price. No more measuring tapes!

I love the functions it has and the fact that it can remember (on screen) several measurements -and that you can "save" those measurements. That's a huge help when working at an elevation (like on a ladder) and then cutting material elsewhere.The angle feature is great; I'll find it most useful when doing additions and needing a quick (and accurate) look at roof pitch. My wish list would be to add a conversion from angle to (roof) pitch on the display (like 5/12 7/12 etc).My 'cosmetic' and wish list improvements are:-The pouch is great to have but it's a little to snug when adding in the white "reflector" pad (which I have found I need on occasion).-It LOVES to power on way to easy. Slipping it into the pouch usually powers it on; it should have the same "3 second press" as powering it off.-The "read" and "off" buttons are yellow with very find white lettering. There is no light condition that my middle age eye can possibly read the buttons. Should have just stuck with the forest green and white text like the other buttons.-It comes with a wrist strap that needs to be "installed". It took me a few minutes to even find the little dark spot you need to thread the string through. It's a needlessly very annoying process to slip the string through. TIP: I stripped off the coating on a wire-tie to have a VERY thin wire. Force the wire through trying to keep the thread going with it; grab it with needle-nose pliers when it pops through. (A better place for this slot would be the CORNER of the unit.)-It does include a USB charging cable (which is nice of them); the manual suggests using a phone charger. However, the USB end that fits into the unit is not a standard "android" size; it' slightly wider. I wish they had used the more common fitting so I wouldn't have to keep track of this specific cable. (Just a "pet-peeve", but I wish all manufactures would really try to agree and stick to 1 fitting.)TIP: The user manual is in several languages and it's bigger than the pouch. I dropped the manual down to the 10 pages of English, then cut the bottom 3/8" off the bottom. This allowed me to fold it in half and fit it in the pouch behind the tool. Normally, I toss such manuals. However, their are some details on measuring, especially the "Pythagoras" measures, that it's worth keeping the manual handy. (Another reason for a slightly bigger pouch).Despite my "critique" of some items, it is a great tool and I would recommend it.

I really like the accuracy of this laser tape measure. I am sure anyone that would need something for professional use would get a great deal of use out of it. It is so much more convenient than a cumbersome measuring tape, but I have to admit that I need to refer to the booklet periodically to remind me how to get the correct setting for my current need. Other than that, you don’t need a second set of hands for anything. We are buying a new house ans have been measuring rooms and furniture, etc. to be sure everything will fit especially after some renovations we are having done and it has been a lifesaver. I highly recommend this for anyone.

Great laser measure! Makes quick work of things like measuring room sizes, calculating square feet of rooms, measuring ceiling heights, determining quantity of moldings needed, and so much more. It is so much quicker and easier than stretching out a standard tape measure.This device has lots of settings which make it more useful, and the buttons that control the settings are fairly logical and easy to understand. I love that it can calculate square footage for you. The belt case that comes with it is well-made. Its lithium battery is very long lasting.Overall, there is a lot to like about this laser measure, and it is a bargain for the price. It is my new favorite tool.
