Durability and authenticity
Bought this for a three year old boy who immediately used crayons to write on small slips of paper to insert in the USPS delivery vehicle! Looks like the real thing. The size is great for little hands. I started a collection of this brand's toy metal vehicles in June for him and will add more in the future. Just wish that Amazon sellers would add more older versions so kids can see and appreciate old styles.

A Nice Piece of Nostalgia for Letter Carriers
As a retired USPS Letter Carrier, I love these. The LLV was a standard for every carrier, especially if it meant getting out of the rough-riding Jeeps. So seeing these LLVs brings back a lot of memories. The model has opening doors which let you peek into a pretty accurate view inside of an actual LLV, with the left side driver seat and the mail tray on the left. The rear door also opens to reveal the cargo compartment. Highly recommended for a stamp collector, car collector, and especially a former USPS employee.
