I was so excited to see the quality of these sketch books! I was a bit concerned, since sketch books can be a deeply personal choice, and often a good price means poor quality. Not these sketch books! The price was very reasonable—$13.47 for *2* sketch books, 100 sheets each. I have seen (and bought) sketch books with fewer pages for the same or even more money. So, did that mean the quality is terrible? Not at all. The tooth of the paper is delightful: smooth enough for detailed representations and "toothy" enough to give some texture to a drawing. The covers are cardboard, which protects the paper when carrying the sketch book around; the double spiral binding will not spring out of shape, catching your favorite sweater and ruining it totally; the perforations are sharp, with an easy tear; and the weight of the paper is perfect, not just for drawing, but for mixed media art work as well. While it might not hold up to something as wet as watercolors, it is definitely weighty enough for lavish use of ink and glue or paste. These sketch books would make excellent journals for an artist, or a creatively inspired writer who enjoys adding visual input to their journal entries.You won't go wrong with these sketch books. Everything about them is delightful. The company is amazing. I've had a couple of emails with the perfect touch of friendliness. I have been searching for the "perfect for me" sketch pad for years. As a handcrafted jewelry designer, I sketch out ideas & designs, as well as explore color palettes. It's a joy to use.The thick double ringed spirals lets you turn pages easily--and the pages don't get torn out by accident or use. The perforated left side edge of the paper makes taking out a page a breeze. The size of the paper is a true 9" X 12." The quality is consistent throughout both the product and customer service.The company is young and passionate and truly wants to build their company the right way. I’ve been in the market for a sketchbook and this one was suggested. Not only is it rather big, it comes with two sketchbooks! A perfect gift for my sister. It does as intended, it held up well with all the sketching, erasing, and line art! What more could I ask for?

Pages are nice and big and thick ; I find some sketch books paper is very thing however this 1 was not . I bought 1 for myself and 1 as gift hoping the person I bought for stop drawing on random pieces of paper and take up drawing in sketch pad so for 1 of us it was waste of $ however if and when or if I ever fill mine with drawings I have a back up I guess; plus the paper is thick

This was for my 13-year-old son. He likes to doodle and work on his sketches. The paper is good and doesn't run or bleed through. The only item I would have changed was ordering the smaller size. For his quick sketches, there is no need for a bigger book. The smaller one allows him to carry it more easily and work on some smaller items.

My daughter needed more sketch pads quickly and I wasn’t able to get to the store. Ordered these and they came fast and she filled them right up. Good price too.

I thought I was getting watercolor paper. This is regular sketch paper but still remarkably sturdy. I will get a watercolor sketch book later from this same company. I was pleasantly surprised that alcohol pens did not bleed as badly as I thought on this paper. Very nice paper.

These are very nice. Good thick pages & not thin. Bound well. Really a good value.
