Simple Magnetic Treadmill for under $200
If this review helps in any way Positive or Negative Please hit HELPFUL!!! It will help encourage me to continue my real reviews of products I've purchased.Pros: * Thrifty Price * Gets heart pumping fast * Light * Easy to store * Sturdy when fully assembled (Note: be sure to attach screw knob from handle to base firmly to be secure.) * Comes with instructions *Front cap over roller is contoured giving you better shoe clearance * Computer works and is easy to attach to the foam padding on bars * Vendor support if needed (So far I have not needed) * Also this treadmill is well supported with foam blocks in transport. Take time un-boxing so as not to damage before getting to use.Cons: * Rollers initially a bit stiff * Tread has stuck already and not totally smooth travel; so good luck if you intend to run without holding on * Really does not feel safe yet without holding onto handles. (If gets better will add a star) * Computer shell is not easy to pull apart. (note: Take your time and be patient and will come apart: if you force it you will probably break it.) * If you are a runner you will need to hold the handles to avoid injury.5/24/2019: Update: PROS: * I'm finding with time tread is getting smoother, still not perfect * With this treadmill walking I start to sweat after 10 mins * Saves me $5-10 monthly by reducing my electric usage from my old treadmill CONS: * Since you really do have to use handles wish they were a TAD taller so I could stand up straighter while using treadmill. SUMMARY: Keeping at 4 stars as not perfect. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. (Computer is still working flawlessly)One more before closing: Be sure your cables are not catching the platform when opening up threadmill to prevent stressing or even snaping the cables.Okay would I buy this machine again. YES as it does what I want and that is cut the electric cord for a simple treadmill. With the price of electric in California I am going to manual devices wherever possible. Shopping for a magnetic resistance treadmill is not easy, as you probably already know. I intend to revisit this review in the future should any changes be necessary. I also left the end caps uninstalled to make tread adjustments easier when needed.Thank you for reading my review:Again Please give this review a thumbs up. It is real. I've been on Amazon as a customer for over twenty years. I don't get compensated for my reviews. (Not that I wouldn't like to be.) I pay for Amazon Prime so I get any of the perks that come with my Prime membership.

Quick easy set up, you need 2AAA batteries
This was a great purchase. I am used to using larger electric units in my home, but after the motor blew on the last one I was ready for something new.I am aprox 5’2 and 150lbs, I found this treadmill to suit my needs. It takes some getting used to, but I turn the tensioner all the way up to walk and lower it to run. I have spent about an hour on it steady since it came this morning and so far so good. You have to learn how to walk and run on the machine, the magnet will tighten suddenly if you don’t have the correct setting for the speed your going. It’s one of two negatives, but you can learn around that one. The one major negative is that the handles are wobbly. And it’s not at the screws I tightened all of those, it’s actually at the floor. The front rubber stoppers are higher then the back ones and, I think it’s supposed to keep it from falling forward, but it’s really difficult to hold the handles while walking and feeling them move towards toys and away. I fixed that with a small board under those feet.Otherwise, great purchase. Love walking with high tension, really works the glutes. Like I said, you need to learn how to walk/run on this treadmill but once you do, it’s a great work out.Folds up nice and small, light so I can move it to storage and bring it out to be in front of the tv :) so quiet! Loudest part is my own foot steps! Great value for price. When I opened the box it was basically already put together, all parts were in the box, Instructions are clear and well written. 5- steps till walking!

Quite satisfactory - adjustment instructions included
I have used this treadmill for about nine months now and am very satisfied. I needed something light enough to move easily (I am over sixty now and can no longer schlepp around 200+ pounds of exercise equipment.) The incline gives you a nice workout – you really will be sweating after 30 minutes. For the price you're paying, don't expect a treadmill that you would see at the gym though. This is a treadmill for walking, not running. The incline angle cannot be changed but I found it quite satisfactory. The belt needs to be adjusted before the treadmill can really be used properly. My unit did not come with any instructions for adjusting the tightness of the belt so I thought I would include them here.ADJUSTING THE BELTThe tightness of the belt is controlled by the two bolts at the end of the struts bracketing the belt, one on either strut. To tighten the belt, turn these clockwise. If the belt is still too loose even when the heads are flush to the metal (which they probably will be) continue to tighten them. This will draw the bar to which the back roller is attached down the bolts, increasing the distance between the front and back rollers, and therefore tightening the belt. Do this until the belt no longer slips when using the treadmill. If the belt begins to drift one way or the other while in use, loosen one bolt or the other until the front and back rollers are parallel. I found this to be a trial and error process but once I got it right, I haven't had to make any adjusts since.Instructions would have been nice but, once again, for the money you're paying, this is an excellent treadmill.
