Works really well for my needs, I have the $20 plan which gives me 2gig of 4g data (which lasts about a week and a half) but unlimited data at 2g speeds afterwards. Great for someone on a tight budget. any serious upload/downloading I go to the library but that's not always convenient (and not always open) so I really enjoy having this option.One thing I would add, my device did not come with a SIM card, I had to order separate. I only mention this because another reviewer mentioned that theirs did come with a SIM card so I did not order one. Then after the hotspot arrived I had to order a SIM card and wait for it to arrive.

It works with T-Mobile only. It will not work with other GSM carriers as advertised.

After nearly 24 hours of searching and researching, and reading and cussing, i finally figured it out . I firstly want to retract my previous 2 star rating, because it is working fine now so far. I dont know if it is all t-mobile web sites redirecting my searche's, they're lack of clarity and instruction, or what.1: After finally getting to the wifi admin page, I could not turn on the data until i unplugged the unit from the charger. This should be made known to customers! 2: The t-mobile help pages are not helpful in my opinion at all.3:the instruction manual that comes with the sim card and/or the hotspot do not mention anything about unpluging the hot spot so it can connect and are extremely vague in content. 4:I want to apologize to the seller and/or amazon for my premature assumption that the unit might be defective.Frustrastion can make you do that somtimes.i have had it working now for about seven hrs with no problems except the crappy data plans from t-mobile. in summary, all i have bought through amazon has been fine and satisfactory, and delivered on or before time. P.S..... If it keeps working fine, i will give it and seller's 5 star in a few day's. Thank you.

Works as Promised Like the idea that i could put the item's phone number in an area code of my choice very good internet on the go product for things like a laptop and like the idea that this device comes with different amounts of highspeed data and i could pay only for what i need and if i go over that data limit it does keep working just at slower speeds VERY good mobile hotspot

this was a previously owned Hotspot and was supposed to be an unlocked hotspot, I had bought it for use with the FreedomPop card I have. the instant I installed the card "Invalid Sim" comes up. I am not happy and would like to know how I can have the hotspot UNLOCKED as I was told it was when I bought it. This is also a ZTE not the Z64, the device is a ZTE MF64 TMO 4G G&G mobile hotspot MBB..... Which was not what I bought. Please contact me ASAP. I'd like to have this situation resolved and be able to use my purchase

Works, but functionally is 2G only. Tmobile rep said the 4G this model supports is old and not compatible w/ their current 4G tech. Basically useless.

This Hot Spot works perfectly. The internet connection is fast. I have used it for e-mail and social networks and for online navigation with the cell phone's GPS without any problem or interruption. On the other hand, internet browsing is somewhat slow. The battery life is very good.PROBLEMS: The Hot Spot is not unlocked, on the contrary it is locked with T-Mobile. I could not perform the activation personally, and the problem was solved in a T-Mobile center.In conclusion, the equipment meets expectations, but is blocked by T-Mobile, so in my case it has limited use.
