Fun, but challenging
If you are looking for a challenging game that is suitable for all ages, you have found it withMonkey Ball. There is a main game, but also several party games that are a little easier to break up the challenges. Definitely a fun game, but sometimes you just want to throw the controller. Haha!

This game is great you play as one of 5 playable monkeys or sonic the hedgehog is you can get far enough through the story mode the object is to finish the course or beat the bosses before time runs out

Fun arcade game.. Overpriced
It’s Super Monkey Ball. It’s fun. It plays like an arcade game, it does what you want it do. It does include some online features but the lack of content and modes don’t make this worth the tag. This would’ve fit better on the eShop library for $20.

Monkey ball on switch is awesome. You can sit on the couch and play a few levels while your watching TV.

Challenging
First Monkey Ball game I've played and it's not bad. It's very challenging but once you get it down it's so rewarding to finish a level. I am glad that its apparently the only one in the series with boss fights, those are not super fun.After playing a bit more I found that they made changes to some of the levels that make things INSANELY DIFFICULT and not in a great way. Poles that you must cross have been given little to no resistance from falling off and with how sensitive the game is, even on the lowest camera sensitivity, this makes levels with these poles not fun in the slightest. I'll be happy to find out a way to cheese it and never play those levels again.
