A Dagger in the Rough
Cool title, right? Even cooler little blade. I wouldn't take it to war, although it would probably be good for a Zombie or two come time for that. Ever notice how skulls are really easy to pierce on The Walking Dead? When you open the box, you're going to notice a few things:The orange cloth seems a bit out of place. Extremely nice looking, but it's lining a cardboard box.The dagger itself is a bit small. It's the size I would imagine Sting would be. A great sword for a Hobbit, you know? But nothing you would actually use as a weapon. That's good, seeing as how I got this as a remarkably cheap display piece. And that brings me to the next thing you notice. I checked, it is remarkably cheap. At least in the price I paid. But - and here's the kicker - nothing about this blade seems cheap. It is highly details and well polished in design. This level of quality is out of place, like a fine cloth lining a card board box. This is a fine blade for a low price, and I'm already considering how many to buy as presents for other people. They don't have to KNOW I'm cheap, right?

Very beautiful!
Don't mind my wo-maniac look haha... I just needed to get a picture for y'all and that's the best I could for now. This product definitely isn't legit, and I bet a lot of knife guys would say it was bad quality. But hey, I'm just a girl who loves to cosplay so for me it's perfect! It isn't sharp at all, I tried sharpening it for about ten minutes then got board and decided to just leave it dull, at least this way I don't have to worry about hurting myself or anyone else. It looks really cool, even tho it's cheap metal and cheep plastic, but totally worth it for the price! :) This would be perfect for medieval movies and plays, it looks real but is harmless ;) Thank you Amazon for great products!

Great Costume Accessory
As a costume accessory (in areas where "weapons" are allowed) this is economical and pretty. I don't recommend it as a weapon--I regard it as too flimsy. The edges are dull and rounded--the tip is pointed--and putting an edge would be difficult because of the steel used. It works well as a letter opener.Would I regard it as a weapon if I were at a security screening point? Yes. Just because I can snap the blade in two with my bare hands doesn't mean this is a harmless toy. If you're looking for a fighting tool, look elsewhere. The five star rating is for use as a costume accessory. A prop master may want to blunt the tip a bit, but otherwise it is pretty.

Just a prop
If you're looking for a neat cosplay piece or something to accent a display of sorts...then i guess this works. Don't try to actually use it for anything though....like anything. It's not really a dagger...it's a prop. No edge whatsoever. Cheap materials. Even at the price point I've found better built items than this.

Perfect for anyone that enjoys losing themselves in fictional worlds for a while!
It's been a while since I wanted to start a collection of prop swords/daggers/etc and this one was a perfect place to start. It's very cute and if you don't pay close attention you might even think it's the real deal. The fact that it includes its own sheath was a nice touch as well. I've received nice compliments on it from my friends and family. I was very surprised at the quality of the product considering it wasn't expensive at all. The blade is very sturdy and I don't think there's a risk of it getting rusty or anything like that with proper care. Absolutely recommend!

Used for a wedding cake topper for themed wedding.
This dagger was the topper for a themed wedding cake I made for a family member. It was the perfect finishing touch. Everyone loved the cake and the knife can be used to cut the cake. We didn't use the sheath but it was lovely as well.
