Schaum's Outline of Mathematics for Physics Students (Schaum's Outline Series)

Riddled with mistakes
I bought this book to aid me in learning some aspects of physics that I am not covering in my A-levels, but for which I do not want to wait till my degree to learn. At first glance it seemed pretty easy to follow and was not frustrating to read. It was only when I started to work through some of the solved problems that I first noticed the errors. One that stood out to me was when the problems changed units from feet to metres, but the solutions still used feet. Other errors included substituting wrong values into equations and straight foward integration and differentiation errors. Honestly, there are loads. At one point I was hitting more than one error per page. It makes it difficult to trust anything that the book says and I found myself having to go elsewhere to confirm what I had read. This should not be the case. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
