I was replacing a DE filter we got with our pool that was a absolute piece of ......well for lack of a better term Garbage! That filter was a hobby in its self! I decided I want a sand filter because of ease of maintenance and after going back and forth on many websites decided on taking a chance through Amazon, Am I glad I did! After reading all the reviews on allot of filters and even all the negative reviews on this particular filter but decided the price was right, I'll give it a shot! This Rx Clear Radiant Sand Filter was sooooo easy to install and has taken back our pool! With the DE filter clogging and needing to be backwashed and refilled every hour this sand filter removes everything I could ever ask and does not plug up, makes vacuuming the pool so much better and easy! If you are looking for a filter for a decent price that works great, look no further!!! Very happy with performance and ease of install! Thank you Rx Clear Radiant Sand Filters! Great product. Instructions are not too usefuI but I learned what I needed to know from a YouTube video. I highly recommend this product.

I bought a 24 inch pool filter in April 2023 and in June 2024 the tank developed a hole and started leaking. I contacted the seller about the warranty they replied that they needed photos to show the leak also in this email dated June 2024 they stated that the warranty only covered manufactures defect or a seam. I sent the photos that clearly shows a manufacturing defect their reply states now the warranty only covers the seam. I believe that the warranty only covers what is not the issue. If nothing changes I am out $350 for 1 year. I would not recommend this company unless you just want to throw your money away.

Plus side: works well ( for a year) and is inexpensive.Down side: product support and durability. Fittings are irregular size.It is easy to over tighten the fittings on the valve and it will crack it if you do. Tends to leak if you don’t over tighten. After replacing the first valve, I found that putting silicone caulk on the threads and tightening it firmly works with no leaks for a season. The drain plug broke after a couple seasons. They provide virtually no information on replacement parts and my only option was to guess and look at other manufacturers parts. After multiple attempts I have found that there are no compatible parts from other manufacturers and they don’t offer a replacement. From what I can tell, they only care about the quick sale and don’t care about repeat business.Consider how many pool devices you have owned that never required a repair. Now consider how useful that device would be if you can’t get replacement parts. Put these together and you come up with a slightly less expensive device with a tenth the life. You’ll probably like this for a year, maybe two. Then you will be furious when you have to replace it when a minor part breaks. If you’re thinking about buying one, look for parts. Look for dimensions. Ask yourself whether you will be replacing it again in a couple years! They are marketing this same filter under a couple different brands now. I strongly recommend avoiding all of them.

This filter was to replace my 34 year old filter on my 21’ pool. Yes, the old filter and pool is 34 years old and with this new filter, it is still going. The filter works well, needed adapters for each hose. The instructions are terrible, but a little help from the local pool man, it is working good. I feel if there had been good instructions, for the pool dummy, it would have been so much simpler.

Read a lot of reviews and was about to spend almost twice as much on a name brand but bought this one. Installed well box did arrive open and possibly had a missing adapter but was connecting to 1.5 inch pipe so no issue. Had to watch a YouTube video to supplement instructions as it has a clear pipe not mentioned that you place on top of sand or filter balls (my set up) the pump connection is marked and you can figure the other two out (sight glass on drain) no leaks other than having to tighten the top clamp a few more turns very pleased with it would buy again.

Install weekend of July 4th install was easy have been running since at least 5hrs daily. No leaks used good thread tape on all fittings, Installed glass media instead of sand pool stays crystal clear. Would buy again
