Dell JNPVV OptiPlex 7010 9010 SFF 240W Power Supply AC240AS PCB015

I purchased this part after a relative complained that their computer had suddenly and completely ceased function. Since I have had some experience and training disassembling, reassembling and replacing various computer parts I was asked to look at the computer and was able to spot a blown resistor on the original power supply module. Thanks to proper labelling, the part number was looked up and this replacement was ordered. The disassembly and removal of the defunct part and installation of the new part was completed using only a screwdriver. Once the part was replaced the computer resumed function without any further issue. I was able to salvage a several hundred dollar computer and recover all of the data within for only the price of this replacement part and 30 minutes of time.

I installed this PS in my Dell 9010 SFF. It worked for 2 hours then completely died. Will not come back on.I realize this is a refurbished unit, but I expected a whole lot more than 2 hours of life for the amount I paid. I removed it and checked all voltages with pwr jumper in place... nothing, no fan, no LED, no voltages at all. Can't even open up the case b/c one of the screws is stripped out.BUYER BEWARE
