Decent product - lack of support by RealTruck
Bottom line: decent lightweight toolbox that fits under the bakflip cover. It’s not heavy duty, but for some ratchet straps and hitch accessories, it’s plenty. I’ve had the toolbox for 10 months and it’s holding up ok. If your truck is a work truck, get something tougher. Works fine for my recreational use. Here’s the bad: the company is glacially slow with support. I ordered 2 mounting brackets that were lost and paid for expedited shipping since we were on the road in July. It’s now the beginning of September and I have yet to receive the parts. In the meantime, the toolbox is becoming damaged as it’s missing supports. The lack of company support is damaging the product to the point where I’d like a replacement and will consider shopping elsewhere for my next product.

I like the functionality this box provides
I like the functionality this box provides. The mounting structure is pretty fragile and mine has fallen off a couple of times. I will be fabricating some additional mounting tabs to hold it more securely in place. Its irritating to have items in it then hear the crash as one side of the box comes out of the mounting slot and it falls to the bed. If it had a more solid mount I would give it five stars.

Convenient
I bought this for my wife to be able to access things easily during our vacation in Montana. It’s been wonderful having it

Overall I'm happy with it. Combine with a bed cover and a tailgate lock for hidden tool storage.
Alright, the short and sweet of it is that I got this for $132 from amazon warehouse. At that price point, this thing is fantastic. I am honestly not convinced that it is worth the retail price, because the build quality is just not that high. However, for the warehouse price, it's worth it.This thing solves several problems simultaneously. First and foremost, it provides a place to store things like tools without them being in the floor of the truck bed. You can still slide lumber or other things under the box for transportation. It isn't quite as large in terms of storage capacity when compared to a traditional saddle box, but what it lacks in space it more than makes up for in versatility and convenience. The beauty of this this is it's fold away nature. I just helped a buddy move, and was able to fold this away and store his full height bookshelf in the bed with the tailgate up. Something you couldn't dream of doing with a traditional box. Here's the real sneaky thing that I love about this box. Because it hangs under the bedcover, a thief would never know it was there. If you go and put a nice shiny toolbox in the bed of that truck, a thief can be reasonably sure that it's got some tools it in that are worth breaking in for, and the locks on most boxes are pure junk. You're much better off with concealment. Sure, someone could break the bedcover latch in an instant to get in...but every tom dick and harry in town runs a bed cover so you can't assume there's anything of value in there to begin with , so they're less likely to bother. Even if they did break in and open the rear panel of the bed cover...they are just going to see an empty bed. No thief in their right might would break into a truck bed and then flip a cover 4 times just to check if someone has an obscure hanging toolbox. So in my estimation this stealth factor is the 2nd greatest benefit to this option over other things on the market. The downsides are this.First, the panels are made from the same material the bakflip covers use. It's basically thin fiberglass panels with Styrofoam in-between. They're not super strong, and if you throw something heavy into the box I wouldn't be surprised if you put a hole in a panel or broke it. It's really flimsy, and I'm not sure why they didn't use something better.Second, the mounting system is...meh. It's apparent that they designed this to fit multiple models of vehicle, so the panels are a little short in my application. There is only about 3/4 of an inch on each side where it sits in the mounting bracket. It's also attached to the bracket with some really puny bolts, and they really could have come up with a better retention system for the front panel than velcro (a bolt with a wing nut comes to mind) because it will fray and wear out over time.Third, the way it is supposed to be mounted, it only attaches to the rail with one bracket per side and it's offset to the front. Doesn't feel the strongest. They send 4 brackets in the kit, but 2 of them are for use with the revolver covers, and 2 for use with bakflip covers. The revolver brackets are too long to use with bakflip and bakflip brakcets too short for revolver rails. I have a bakflip so I ended up cutting down the revolver brackets to the size of the bakflip brackets so I could use all 4. This added some structural rigidity to the whole system and I recommend you do this. Revolver guys are out of luck unless you want to fab your own extra brackets.Overall, it's a win.

Not built for anything but light-duty use
Purchased with the Bak Flip cover which is pretty rugged and good. However, the box fit and finish when installed properly is flimsy, collapses and has an overall weak feel. This product definitely is not designed for anything other than light-duty use.Expected much better for the price and combo with the cover. Another BIG NEGATIVE - I returned the item promptly and I’m still waiting on a refund… never had anything but immediate response & refunds from Amazon in the past.Overall bad experience.
