mophie Powerstation Plus 8X with Lightning Connector (12,000mAh) - Black/Black

Love it, I was able to fully charge my IPhone 3 times, as well as my IPad Air 1 time (1% to 90%) before the charger was fully discharged. I also like that the lightning and USB cables store inside the case. This is going to work perfectly when I travel to Europe later this year.

Love this product. Love the built in charging cable. Unfortunately, mine has stopped charging and is nearly useless. 1 week outside the return date. :(

Old stock. Made (and charged) years ago. Can’t leave such a battery dead for long periods of time and expect it to charge. Nice concept - but is a worthless brick when sold uncharged and dead this way. Amazon immediately took care of me in way of refund - which is great, but really wanted a working version of this charger. Nope.

I order this mophie because I previously had another one similar to it, and never had any issues!! Unfortunately, I had to return this one, bc it stopped charging only after two uses!! So bummed, bc I love that the cords are inside the power station!

I found it a bit hard to receive a package that was not charged. I charged it and after the first attempt at charging, the connector broke off on my iPad. I had to take it off, but that part of the external battery charger isn’t working anymore. Very disappointed !!!!!!

8X gives iPad one charge, using 75% of 8X. It is much faster than the wall outlet 12w with [email protected] which is really 12.5w charger. (Edited to reflect 12w rather than 85w. The 85w charger is only for the laptop).However, it does take a long time, essentially overnight, to recharge the 12,000 ma-hr mophie notwithstanding the 2400ma input. Arguably it would take 5 hours plus heat loss, for a lithium ion battery there's all kinds of stuff involved that make it tough to go linear; basically constant current charge to peak voltage foliowed by saturation charge. I'm not privy to the details of mophie's Battery Management System (BMS) but in general high initial current just gets you to a voltage threshold whereupon current is dropped until saturation charge is accomplished.It might even be better NOT to charge the thing to full charge/saturation charge if you're interested in maximum battery life.http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_lithium_ion_batteries

This is one killer accessory. Buy the biggest one you can afford bc it’ll charge/power so many different electronics.

This holds around 4 charges for my iphone6. It is a bit big and definitely more heavy than I had anticipated. I love ghat tha cords arealready connected to the unit.

I bought this as a gift for a birthday in March. It was used a total of four times and now doesn't charge up at all.

Amazing charger to travel with and although it's big it can charge several devices in one battery life!

It works perfect, the best in the market, no 5 stars because after 10 months the lightning cable doesn't work any more
