[UPDATE] I put the Temp to 190 and the prints are pretty good, careful not to level your bed too close to the extruder and you'll get wonderful results ! Sorry for the 1st review ![UPDATE 2] As a default parameter, 0.3mm 1st layer makes all the print perfect in the end ;)Don't get me wrong, this filament is gorgeous, I've printed a piece in 0.12mm on my Sidewinder SW X1, and the result is incredibly good looking...Now the downpart... I've used this filament twice, the first time to print a base for a model (about 10cm wide, 1cm tall). My Sidewinder is pretty new so the bed still has it's fresh coat of "whatever" makes it sticky to PLA etc...But none of the other PLA I used did what this one did, they all pop off right away once the bed is cold.The first layers just where sticking like they were GLUED to the bed, I actually broke twice the models I printed and had to scrape the remaining PLA off the bed.First time took me 20 minutes, but I managed to clean it without damages... Well, that didn't work for the second time... A pieces of glass from my bed just popped off.Before saying anything else, I printed at 200C/50C, I took all the precaution to clean the bed, didn't go crazy or anything. Yes I had to go hard to remove the extra layers that were 'glued'. But as you can see on the image there is STILL some PLA left on the bed !!!I am sad because this filament is beautiful, but I now have a damaged build plate that I can't fix without spending a lot of money... I am thinking about a Wham Bam magnetic sheet but I don't even know if it is worth...Please be careful if you use this filament with a tempered glass bed (that is brand new).

I only bought this because it was on a lightning deal, but let me tell you - it's got a PERFECT FINISH. Love the color. I can barely see any layer lines. 10/10 will buy again

The media could not be loaded.  I'm new to 3D printing so I haven't tried many different kinds of filament yet. But this filament worked very well and looked amazing when printed. I'd definitely buy more of this because the look is very eye catching. And this is a huge roll compared to every other filament I bought in this price range. It will be a while before I run out but when I do I'm definitely buying more.The video is a box I printed that was all one piece. The wheel/spring side of the box is a different color because I started to print with a white filament by mistake. I had to pause and change to this one but it still turned out well.

I'm not much for handing out 5 star reviews, but I've got no choice but to hand CC3D's Rose Gold Silk PLA an easy 5 stars. The very first thing you notice with this filament is how neatly the filament is wound, I've never seen any filament producer put out rolls and neatly wound as these. The filament prints well with normal PLA settings, although you'll notice it doesn't act like normal PLA. My prints have excellent 1st layer adhesion with this filament, with no warping even on the largest prints I've thrown at it. The filament has a beautiful golden color, with just a hint of the rose color, which gives is a slightly antique look. I do recommend doing a thin wall calibration print with this filament before printing objects, but that's just good sense for any new filament. Right now I have to say that CC3D Silk PLA is my new favorite filament, all colors I've tried print just as nicely and look just as beautiful. It was a great looking filament that can produce beautiful parts. Certainly not the most durable though. Maybe to be expected from a silk pLA

Color name on this is a bit misleading. Instead of rose gold, it would be a better description to call it chocolate silver. Prints great with the only adjustment needed is bumping my nozzle temp up 5° from my normal PLA temp. It has a great shine to it and the light brown undertone to it reminds me of a very light milk chocolate. The finish texture is ultra smooth. This is the 3rd metallic color I have tried from CC3D, and I am quite impressed. It will be my go to filament for anything that is meant to be a metal part on my future models.

This is one of the best filaments that I have ever used, whilst being one of the cheapest. Visually, it is stunning, though the colour of the filament I revived is noticeably different to the colour in the photo,being more gold and less silvery-gray. The filament is very easy to print and printed flawlessly with a 0.4mm nozzle. I found it impossible to print this filament with a 0.2 mm nozzle as it kept clogging mid-print so bear that in mind if you need to use a small nozzle. I have nearly used up my 1kg spool in less than a week and will be purchasing more, I strongly recommend.

El color y acabados están muy bien, pero sale con pequeños defectos como burbujas. Una lástima...

Good quality and nice colour. Not very rose as many others have pointed out. Gives a nice antique look to many prints. I like it!
