Yes it would however if they are still growing then I'd suggest a small adult set as they will grow out of this within a year this is suitable max to 160/165cm

Q: My son is 141cm so 1cm under the max height for 8-11 yrs set below this one. He is almost within the height limit for this set but is only age 8.

My son plays with these and he’s 1.50 m and they are about as long as he can handle. I’d expect him to get at least 2 or 3 years out of them. So, I’m thinking these will be a little long for your 8-year old. Really nice set though with an excellent stand bag and enough clubs to get a feel for different shots without too many to confuse. I’d suggest getting the next size down. If your son gets serious about golf he might want a fuller set in a few years; maybe a shorter women’s set.
