Quiet Night (Formerly Night Owl Solution) Holistic Flower Essence Solution - Insomnia, Dementia, Circadian Rhythm

I wanted to try this product after seeing a video that Jackson Galaxy put out about cats and waking their humans up at 5am...He recommended playing with them a few hours before bed and wearing them out completely and THEN feeding them because apparently they get tired after eating.. He them recommended getting these drops and using them in the food or water to help them get on MY schedule.I tried to put them in the food but I think the cats could smell/taste it because they ate the wet food AROUND where I put these drops and even my little fatty of a cat who eats EVERYTHING wouldn't even touch it!I started putting it in their water and that seemed to help and to mask the scent/taste of it. So far I have only been woken up once this week and that was because one of them jumped up on my dresser and knocked something off but other than that, I have been sleeping completely through the night and waking feeling rested because the cats aren't hosting a 5am WWE match in my room.They say to put 4-5 drops at least a few times a day in the water but I've just been doing a 5 before bedtime and it seems to be working.This bottle is pretty big too and I can see that this will be lasting me a while - DEFINITELY worth the money to buy this because trust me, when you get cats, no one tells you they enjoy 5am triathlons......

Updated review 1-18-19: OK, I did not give this a chance. Part out of high expectations because of the name and part frustration with lack of sleep. BUT. It does seem to help after about two weeks. I re-read the instructions and saw that it might take some time to work. I tried again without expectations and saw some difference as far as sleeping at night. It has to be given every night without fail to work, though. I changed my rating from 1 star** to 4...it does work, but it takes effort. It's not a quick and easy solution.**It might for other cats, I dunno. But I'm still awake every hour or two with my furbaby talking and whining at me. I've tried everything. The thing that works best is called Zen. But it doesn't help him sleep and chill out at night. I was hoping this would. But it really doesn't do anything at all for him.

Does not work. Its not the tincture that is tiring the cat out, its the play/feed schedule that Jackson has talked about before. Adding this in just seems like a placebo and a waste of money. If you are looking for a solution that does not require behavior modification and retraining of your pet, look elsewhere.

I am almost certain this is just water with scent to it. It does absolutely nothing for my cats. One of them has a really bad habit of waking up in the middle of the night and this did absolutely nothing and I'm still at a loss on how to fix it, so? I wouldn't buy again or recommend, sadly. I was pumped for this.

I was DYING for this to work. I have a cat that wants to party at night....been putting the drops in his food for a month now - no difference. Sigh....onward.

Wow! I almost feel guilty it works so well but then I remember that my happiness is my cat's happiness is my happiness...you get the picture. Just as directed 3-5 drops is all it takes. Even though we'd play at night to burn off energy it wasn't enough for my cat so he would wake me up at 2, 3, 4am. PLEASE give this to someone as a gift who might be at risk of re-homing or relinquishing their pet. Share it with others. It's a lifesaver. A rested home is a happy home. I love my cats and I am glad I took a leap of faith to spend the money and try it. How could I give it up now when we've had restful nights from the moment we used it! My cat who needed this is finicky and I thought he'd smell it on the food but he doesn't. It works rubbing the drop on his fur which is convenient if it wears off too early you can do a quick hand rub while still half asleep (or apply a drop or two more at bedtime). yay!In all seriousness I see the bigger picture with the value of a product like this. Think about it. I, like many of you, see my pets as a lifetime commitment along with the sleep struggles, medical bills and lifelong adaptations we make to make our pets family. There are many people out there who don't know what to do. This product along with proper play / proper diet / stimulation / human interaction will help to bring your home back into balance. Peace
