This stuff works great in one coat. It is easy to apply and covers easily. Great quality. I was prepping 4 pieces of furniture for painting. It was my first time attempting a project like this. The primer went on easily in one coat The furniture looks great and I am looking forward to other projects

For jobs that require oil-based primer (e.g., re-glazing windows with linseed-based putty), this primer is the best. It covers nicely, dries relatively quickly and has an amazingly long shelf life in the can. (The only reason I needed to get a new can was because I finally reached the bottom of the can I bought 10 years ago!) Working with oil-based anything is never a pleasant experience, but if you have to use it, I would highly recommend this brand (along with a few pairs of thin latex gloves).5 stars.

We bought a house with layers and layers of wallpaper and adhesive and could not get the adhesive off no matter what we tried. We painted over it with this so the glue wouldn't react with the skim coat of joint compound or paint. It works great, just make sure you air out the house if using it inside. I'm sensitive to chemicals and felt sick of we didn't open the windows and turn on the whole house fan.

The smell of this make me so nauseous. It’s a great product but definitely use in a very well ventilated area.

Exact same color as joint compound! I had a leak in the ceiling that also ran down the wall. After I fixed the leak (took forever to fix the leak) the ceiling and wall had water stains. I scraped and cleaned the ceiling and wall. Then I painted with this sealer. Then I finished the ceiling and wall with joint compound and put on another coat of the sealer. A couple days later I textured repainted the ceiling and wall. That was a few months ago and the ceiling and wall still looks like brand new. No stain bleeding through.Just keep in mind, this is an oil paint and you either buy a cheap disposable paint brush or get out the paint thinner to clean your brush.

I did two coats. The floor color was black. It do smell. I had to close the door and open the windows cause the headache was annoying. It does not dry quick. It took around 3-4 hours to dry. It was easy to use and satisfying not see the previous color. I will buy this paint again.

No stars deserved, product came in bag in the box, thank God because the lid came off. The bag wasn't completely sealed cause it leaked into the box and my hands.

Used it as a primer over wallpaper and had expected it to hide the pattern. It does not. It required two coats of this and two coats of paint to hide the pattern. More work than I had expected.
