Great little pump got it at 2.5k. For a 5000l/h pump it is good value at50p per l/h. It is compact and submersible. It cannot work outside water. This type of motor is for high flow and less wattage for continuous running.5000l/h is at 0 head ( height from water level to output level) . The flow drops for every inch of additional head so plan accordingly. This is quite evident by lifting the output pipe even by a few feet. At max head you probably get less than 1/2 rated output.It is ac motor, dc bltc options are more expensive at 1re per litre. The flow cannot be adjusted it runs at full power when turned on.It had a provision for input pipe. Since it is submerged it also can be operated without input pipe and use the plastic case that comes with the motor. It has slits on it to allow water to flow through.It gets easily clogged with particles that are larger than 5mm roughly. Not for use as sludge pump.Only disadvantage I could see was that even through this is self priming motor, it sometimes takes a while to start pumping water, some times as long as 2 mins. Once the water starts to flow there is no interruption..I will monitor it and see if it gets worse.I have been running it for over a month, roughly 20hrs at a stretch. But on an average 16-18 hrs a day. I am using it to feed a diy filter for a 3000liter tank with koi fish. It just lifts water by 2-3 ft in my case so I should be getting close to l5k/h .It works perfectly fine for the purpose.

It's working fine for my requirements as a pond filter pump. Pond water quantity 4000L. I have kept the head height very low and getting very good flow rate.But at 2 meter height flow is very very less.

Extremely disappointed. I normally use 40watt generic pumps which costs me around 400-500 rupees and they last me for 3-4 months. But I am tired of having to replace the pumps so often. Also most of the pumps get broken because of the steel shaft getting worn off. So I thought I would give this one a try because this one is a branded one and also more expensive(1650 rupees). Also, the pump shaft is made of ceramic instead of steel so perhaps it would last longer. But I am extremely wrong. The pump stopped working after 2 months. The shaft is just fine, but it just stopped working.

Water lifting only 3 Mtr. Very bad. 2 mtr water lifting good. Delivery is good. 5.5mtr. lifting is wrong.

Its working as per my requirement. Good Quality and soundless Hope the service in future matches the product quality.
