The box was absolutely drenched! But so far so good!
So first things first, I wish i could rate the product 4.5 stars because the box it came in was absolutely soaked, the Styrofoam inside? you bet, drenched in water. I don't know whose fault this is I assume the carrier but again I have no idea so its hard to blame Acer. The monitor itself came wrapped in plastic that somehow kept it dry (for the most part). It booted and works perfectly fine! I am stepping up from a 1080p 144hz monitor and the 1440p is absolutely gorgeous. I have only had it a few days at this point but i will update my review if something turns up in the near future! so far so good!

So far so good - no dead pixels, running smooth, G-Sync compatible" (1440p, 144hz, 27 inch)
Just ordered and received this model (27-inch, 1440p, 144hz curved) that appears to be a new SKU as of May 2019 as I only see prior reviews for either a 31 inch 1440p or 27 inch 1080p version of this curved display. Overall I am extremely pleased at the $350 price point for what it appears to offer in performance, but I will update this review if my opinion changes.Note: There are like 5-6 SKUs all on this Amazon page. Keep this in mind when reviewing reviews as you'll otherwise get very noisy feedback. Background: I've had a GSYNC compatible ASUS monitor for nearly three years that was already a 27 inch 1440p 144hz monitor. I am extremely happy with this "sweet spot" as I don't have 4K gaming hardware yet, and HDR is not a make-or-break item for me. That said, the PG278Q SWIFT has some serious disadvantages for 2019. I was experiencing screen blanking/tearing and ASUS's "ship first, then maybe we'll look" warranty policy is hot trash for a $600 piece of equipment. Plus, my model was quickly discontinued due to having only a single DP output, which (surprise) makes frustrating for using with multiple devices. This is all to say that I wasn't looking to "upgrade" but a reasonably priced device that will come close to my current hardware stats without paying another $500 for more or less the identical monitor with "advertised" G SYNC support (more on that later)This all brings me to the Acer ED273UR. I wasn't going to buy this, and was going to wait on an Acer PREDATOR display on sale, but I suddenly saw this new SKU for just $350 and also noticed that the ED273 line of hardware appears to be NVIDIA G Sync "recommended." This technically doesn't include this SKU but I was willing to take a chance given the similar hardware. Most other similar displays are $500, so what's the catch?I'm still looking for one. No dead pixels. multiple inputs. Curved. Seems to be working with my "baseline" NVIDIA G Sync demos, and just overall feels like a pretty great deal of a curved high res/refresh rate monitor. The only thing I'll call out is the weaker contrast, lower brightness, and slightly higher response times on this display compared to the $600 hardware, but the side by side difference isn't much when you consider it's nearly half the price. No dead pixels. Will keep an eye out and update this review if things change.

Great quality and picture
I’ve been using this since about March of 2020 and it has been fantastic. The picture quality is great, all of the games look beautiful.I noticed one small issue in the past, when booting up the PC, it would have static at the bottom portion of the screen for about 30 seconds and then it would disappear, I don’t know what was causing it but after changing to a new motherboard and updating some software, it stopped happening.Update:As of about December 2022, the screen turned to complete static, picture slightly visible at times behind it all but the static was too much. Potentially a part needs to be replaced to fix the issue. So I got two years and nine months out of it.I suspect that this is related in part to the amount of time that I left the monitor turned on.

Super monitor.
The product is of excellent quality, but this seller is over priced and shipping time is unacceptable.

Very good for the money
This was a huge upgrade from 1080pColors are amazing and the blacks are deep especially after you disable black boost.Freesync seems to work fine on my 1080ti and should run well on most other graphics cards.Overall, i would recommend this monitor for those budget minded gamers and even those who a little cash to spend.

Dead pixels are common
The first time i received this monitor there was 3 dead pixels on it, I received a replacement and there was another dead pixel.

Won’t run 1440p at 120hz
The monitor is great, however it won’t run the XBOX Series S/X in 1440p at 120hz. It’ll max out at 1080p at 120hz. Disappointed in that for the fact that LG QHD will run it at 1440p at 120hz.

Really solid VA panel
I have had terrible luck with panels. Terrible luck indeed. Clouding, dead pixels, crazy bad IPS glow. Just everything that can come out of a factory bad has happened to me.Enter this monitor. It had a line of dead pixels on the first one. No big deal, replaced. The second one was perfect. No dead pixels. Great gamma. Great and vibrant colors out of the box. Just a perfectly serviceable VA panel. I use it for media like Youtube, Netflix, Amazon Video and the like.Pros:Very good colorsGreat contrastGets very brightCons:Needs a new stand - its a static stand with only tilt adjustmentBlack and red smearing -- which is simply an issue with VA panels and the response time from black and red colorsBlack crush -- again an issue with VA panels and the contrast ratioOverall its a great monitor, and I recommend it!

Love it when its warmed up.
I'd rank it higher because I do love this monitor but when its been off for any more than 30mins it has these lines appear all across the screen from the bottom up. It's 100% the monitor itself it even disrupts its own menu system to the point you can't read it. The lines do eventually go away usually within about 10mins or so, but obviously that can be very annoying. If I could get that fixed 5 stars easily.
