Statins can potentially affect muscles so there are studies that indicate taking ubiquinone is good for that. This is my go-to brand for top quality ubiquinol and ubiquinone. You can use CoQ10 which is a little bit cheaper but does not disseminate in the body as well as ubiquinol.
