ti doesnt work
i know it has been awhile, but i been trying to get this thing to work right so it will come on when i want it to. but after all this time of adjusting it, it now doesnt even work ,even adjusted it down to 1000 rpm and it never lite up. to buy this cheap junk spend the money

Cost effective old school shift light. Too simple to ever go wrong.
Very cost effective old school solution. I'm actually installing up behind the dash. The nose can be disassembled to reveal an incandescent bulb. I'll be removing it and wiring in a small LED that I'll mount in a small hole in my dash next to my tachometer. A dot of rtv should keep the adjustment arm in place.

Nice piece but not the best quality one
This is a very nice piece. Works fine but visual quality is not the best. It does what it says... I think it is ok for the price.

Very satisfied with this shift warning light. Install was easy, the adjustment for when the shift light comes on is functional. Didn't matter to me that the numbers printed aren't exactly when the light kicks in. The adjustment was easy just moving it up or down the dial, it is linear in movement and that quickly let me set it to come on exactly when I wanted it to. I'd recommend this and would buy it again.

Works with more money and time
Worked ok, product stated it was compatible with my vehicle 2002 camaro ls1 but after calling them they verified I needed another $100 module to make it work. That could be spelled out somewhere clearly.

It worked perfect for a while
Had mine for about 1.5 yrs. it worked as it should. Motor developed a miss above 5700 rpm. I went around and around troubleshooting the problem; looking at ignition and carburetor issues. Eventually i disconnected the tach and shiftlight. Immediately problem went away. I rewired the tach and shift light completely separately, so i could disconnect them individually. The problem is on the shift light. I have no idea what it is, but without the shift light, the motor revs as it should to 6500/6700 region. Its a problem that developed. Originally everything worked as it should.
