Hi Rachel, I'm sorry to hear of your problem. I've bought, and assembled, 3 pieces of this series of furniture (including this 5 Drawer Narrow cabinet and I've never had any pieces missing. In fact I usually find there's a few bits of dowelling and sundry other pieces left over! I hope that the manufacturer sends you the missing part soon so that you can enjoy this furniture without further delay.
