CAISHA 18" Hairpiece Ponytail Extensions Voluminous Wavy Chocolate Brown PH20

This review is looonnngg overdue! I've been buying this exact ponytail for about a year, maybe a little longer and to be honest, I can't imagine life without it! My hair is thinning on top like crazy and not growing much, so in order to feel my best as I head out the door, I throw this on and get the confidence I need. I use a small wig brush to lightly comb through it. I will usually get about a good month or two (depending on if I wash it like I should) use out of it, and that's me wearing this Monday through Friday and possibly a Saturday here and there. It matches my hair perfectly, which is easy to do with the dark brown/borderline soft black hair like I have.I put mines on slightly different than others I think. I put my hair almost in a bun, use the front and back combs to push into the ponytail holder I'm using and then use the drawstring to secure it tightly. I will also always two black Bobby pins in the front for even more secureness. I've never had it move too much or come loose. It can look kinda shiny right out of the package, but that's expected. You have to move the hair and play with it a little, just like you would your own hair to get it to looks it's best.I will continue to purchase these ponytails for as long as I can, because they help give me the confidence I need since I am so insecure about my own hair. They look great and are a great price. Thank you to the seller for such a great product!!

I ordered this for a Lady Deadpool cosplay, and it was perfect! The curls look lovely (just like in the picture), and the color seems to be accurate from the picture as well.I was able to put this on in the morning and have it stay on for hours with no discomfort and no need for adjusting it.I tried some other ponytail extensions from Amazon, but a lot of them had big alligator clips that were too heavy and hurt my head. I like that this one has small clips that push into your real hair, and then a drawstring to hold it on tight.I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable, good quality extension for cosplay or costumes!

When first opening the package the hair was beautifully curled and very soft. I was planning to straighten the curls out from the beginning but I think it’s worth noting that the curls were not weird or unnatural looking.I straightened the hair on about 350 degrees and it was very easy, there was no burnt smell, and the synthetic hairs didn’t melt or singe. The hair does come with layers that look natural, even when straightened. I do wish I would’ve gotten one without layers just for the look I was going for, but they don’t look bad by any means.The clips and drawstring hold the ponytail in very well. It can be tightened around a small or large bun. I wore the ponytail all day while walking around the city in the rain and then went to a concert with it in. It didn’t get curly or frizzy and didn’t budge the whole time.The hair does get tangled pretty quickly, but that’s expected with synthetic hair. It didn’t get matted or difficult to brush by the end of the day.The one issue I have with the hair is that it sheds quite a bit. I have other synthetic wigs that aren’t as soft but they surely don’t shed as much. This only means the ponytail will get thinner and thinner the more you brush it, and since it gets tangled quickly, you might end up brushing it a lot. After a full weekend of using it I haven’t been able to really see any difference at all, though, even with all the shedding and brushing. I attached a picture of my brush before and after brushing the 1-day worn tangles to provide some reference.Close to the hairnet that goes around the bun are these very short frizzy hairs, maybe added for volume or texture? I’m not sure and you don’t notice them when the piece is actually in, so it wasn’t a big issue to me. I attached a picture of them.Lastly, the color I chose was far too bright for me, but it’s always hard to pick the perfect color. The ponytail still doesn’t look too wildly unnatural considered the huge difference in color, it just looks like I’ve gotten an intense balayage. I wore a big scrunchy in effort to hide the immediate change in color from my head to the ponytail. I think it looked pretty good for $12.Overall the ponytail is perfect for the price. I ordered 1-day shipping on a Thursday and it came that Saturday safely in a hair net and protective bag. It is such an easy way to look put together when you don’t have time or want to do your own hair, just throw it in a tight bun and clip in your beautiful hair! The convenience and overall look are totally worth the price, despite the shedding and minor tangling.

The clip to make it tighter broke on the first day of use. Our whole gym uses this hair piece and there has been nothing but complaints. The button was not working right on the first day we opened it but not have ever used one before I didn’t think much over it. The day we used it and needed it for a competition, the button snapped in half in about 4 parts went flying.

Bought this and have worn it several times. Looks good on me and I've gotten a lot of compliments! It's natural looking and blends in with my real hair very nicely! It did take a little practice to get it in my hair correctly. I have fine hair so I making a ponytail first, then twist the poneytail into a bun, and then wrapping a small scrunchie around the bun. Then I put the piece on and it holds nice and strong all day.

Pretty, thick, nice but . . Does not stay secure without 50 bobby pins!! Pretty hair but sewn wrong at the top! Look at the seam showing. Can't cover it. Looks aweful. Needs large interlocking combs & drawstring to make it look natural. Can't wear it, won't stay in & seams show. Color is not Platinum blonde, it's more gold.
