Cuts through foam like budda!

I was using a different type of serrated knife to cut foam for several years and it always made a huge mess. This knife is a total game changer, and cuts everything so cleanly. Very satisfying!

It works OK cutting the materials and is super cute with the purple handle.

This is not really designed to cut regular styrofoam as I hoped it would be. It will cut it, and will indeed shave a thin section off, but for larger cuts, I had to tediously cut off pieces to get down to the final piece I needed as photo shows.Note that like Japanese saws, the cut is on the push, not the pull.Easiest to use with only the front half doing the cutting.If it had tiny teeth, it would cut more easily, so first try a fine-tooth small saw; I will next time I need to do this.For the price it is ok, but try my suggestion above first before buying this.

This knife is bigger than the picture depicts. It’s sturdy and sharp enough to cut a sliver of foam yet not sharp enough to cut yourself. The knife doesn’t seem dangerous to use like some of our German made paring knifes. This tool is going to make carving foam a breeze! Initial impression is very positive. I highly recommend!

Inaccurate description. This is for hard foam like the bottom of synthetic plants, not for upholstery etc. However I put a bad review. I review the product, not the process. Just want you to know what is.
