Q: Is this chair good for stargazing up on a deck?

If you want to go with a helinox, the sunset chair is probably the best for stargazing. Second would be the camp chair. However as others have mentioned, the helinox chairs aren't the ultimate lounge chair. You can't recline in them. ChrisCampman

Q: Is this as reclined as the chair one or is it more upright?

Definitely reclines as one sits in it. The heavier the person, the more reclined position it becomes. It reclines back as though one is 'rocking back' on a stable chair. Doesn't sit very upright so if you like to be in the reclining position, this is the chair. I personally like a headrest when I'm reclining back but since I'm short, getting used to the relaxed, reclined position vrs uncomfortable upright chairs.

Q: Is this chair suitable for hunting? If my husband is sitting in it in a blind and draws back his bow and swivels, will it make a sound?

I'm not sure this would be my pick. I'm a bow hunter to. U sit low and back and not sure it's a good bow position. I own 6 of these chairs of various styles for camping. I'm 5foot 8 inches at160. I might use mine now for that purpose. It's quiet and very strong. Good luck
