Command Arms AR15/M16 Stock Saddle (fits collapsible stocks)

Since the sig brace is in the grey area now and illegal to shoulder, this is a great alternative. I have a phase 5 pistol buffer tube with pad. This cheek rest fits perfectly over the pad and stays in place with a velcro strap (I used the sig brace strap after modification). It's a bit wide but is much more comfortable than a regular buffer end. It will also come off in seconds with the velcro strap. The storage tubes are horrible. They are held in by O-rings, not secure.

When I started looking at this product I was sceptical because the reviews were all over the board, but mostly good. So I took a chance and bought one.All I can say is I love it.I installed it on my M&P15 and went to the range. I will say it was a little tricky getting it on, the nuts won't stay in place good enough to get the screws in so I super glued then in place, waited about 30 minutes and everything went together nicely. It fits the factory stock very snug and required some finagling but other than that it fits great, no movement once the screws are tight.At the range it felt great. Not to abrasive on the cheek. I really like how the cheek weld feels.The plugs seem to stay in nice and tight so they won't come out but the factory recommends that you tie them on with para cord just in case.I gave it the 4 star rating only because I had to glue the nuts in place before I installed it. Other than that it would be a nice addition to any AR.

I got this saddle for my Shockwave Blade. The saddle isn't meant to be attached to the Blade. Modifications are required. Lots of cutting, grinding and aftermarket screws are required. The results are awesome. I might order more to try to make some of the old stocks I have laying around better.

It seems a good fit, finally. The instructions are pretty clear, but the execution falls a little short of how it is illustrated. The little nuts used to hold the saddle to the brackets fall out. This is due in part to the sides not fitting exactly onto the notches of the stock, making it difficult to set the screws into the holes. And if you have even mildly bad vision, wear your magnifying glasses. The little screws, nuts, and associated holes are pretty small, and kind of hard to see. I did have to trim the tabs that fit into the buttstock notches, so maybe they could address that and reposition the tabs. It's definitely better than no cheek riser at all. I fit it onto my S&W M&P Sport II, with the OEM stock. When I did finally get it installed, it seemed to fit securely, so there should be no issues with it moving during firing the weapon. I don't really know what I would put into the little storage tubes on the side. They are pretty small, only about 1/2 inch in diameter. Maybe some gum. Anyhow, it's okay for the price point.

Its seems to not handle scratches ans scrapes to well. other than that its a great addition. It also gives your pistol a good look and the battery storage tubes makes for a good place to keep paperwork. Easy to install especially if you have the Thordsen buffer tube pistol kit. Because of some of the scuffs I ended up wrapping mine in carbon fiber vinyl.

This provides great cheek weld and is comfortable when placing it "not in the shoulder". I installed it on my AR Pistol that had a regular ol buffer tube and a foam cover. The brace does not have the notch on top at the rear, if that mattters to you.Also, unless you are using the Command Arms buffer tube, then it requires MODIFICATION!in order to get it to fit Snugly enough around my foam, I had to take a Hacksaw to the two included plastic brackets to make them thinner, and also the little bolts. Then, also used a zip tie up front. The battery tubes are secured by O-rings.. I'm not sure I'll trust them.

Fits like a glove, works great, and looks cool. Four stars because mine didn't come with instructions but it only took a few minutes to figure out.

4 stars because the instruction sheet I received was plain awful. It was printed from a printer half out of ink, and all illustrations were complete blurs. So I had to figure out how to put this together on my own. After that, I like it. It's light and works exactly as intended. It's also a cheap alternative to just buying a whole new stock. One other thing, the nuts do not stay in the holes and fall out when trying to put together (you will know what I mean when you try this). Just go ahead and super glue them in there. It will save a ton of trouble.

Arrive without any mounting hardware. Useless now.

It’s virtually useless if you cant properly mount it to a buffer tube which requires a new buffer tube. I just couldn’t get it to stay in place I constantly had to adjust it.

This adapter will fit on a standard mil-spec rear stock and we'll give it a similar look and feel to an $80 Vltor stock
