A little disappointed the the stands were not included
Seems to work as well as expected. I have had a few misreads but can't confirm it is the scanner or software. A little disappointed the the stands were not included. The description never said anything about the stands however in the Q&A section there was a response that said the stands do come with it.

ID Tech EconoScan II scanner
Product was delivered promptly as advertised. Product is light and easy to handle. Configuring the computer is a snap: just click on three objects on the instructions and you are in business.Contact with the barcode to be scanned is not necessary, a nice light is projected over it so one can see exactly what is being scanned, and a loud beep signifies it has been scanned.For the money its hard to beat.

Great Purchase
I bought this scanner to use in my school library. It does an excellent job.

One Snag
The scanner worked great right out of the box, but the second time I used it, it didn't, and there was no fixing it with the instruction booklet.And no one to call.Finally, I rebooted my computer and then it worked fine, and has continued to work fine.Great tool, but I did have the one frustrating snag.

Love it!
I work in a small school library where we had used an earlier model of this scanner. We love the new model! It scans from 4", it's easy to handle, and takes being knocked around on the check-out desk. AND it's inexpensive.

A good investment
Arrived at the earliest quoted date. Had a short quick start guide with a more in depth manual online. Turned out the default settings worked just fine with our software. Very fast scans. Really speeds up the checkout time. Not all of our products are bar coded but we are putting together laminated 'scan sheets' we can use at each computer for these items. A good investment for a small business.

not what I expected at all
I thought I was getting a bar coder that would help get info into my Readerware Library program so I didn't have to type it all in. If this does it, I've yet to figure it out. It scans the ISBN no. and that's it.
