It worth a try

It's 2022, and you can't buy a Raspberry Pi at any reasonable price. What to do when you need a new Octoprint instance to run your 3D Printer?Well with Octo4A and an Android TV box, the answer is pretty simple. Buy this, install the app, plug your printer into it, and you're all set!Superior to the pi in some respects; there's no scrounging around for a USB OTG cable, and unlike the PI, this one comes with a power supply. 2 USB ports means you can save on the PI Cam too, and just re-use an old USB webcam for your monitor.I did test drive the inbuilt apps; it plays Youtube fine, and the browser is decent. Conencted to both my WIFI and the ethernet LAN just fine. If you need a TV box, it'll do. If you want KODI, it'll also do, but bear in midn you'll lose wifi support.All in all, a decent Set-top box, but a top notch Octoprint Instance.

Bought this thing 2 days ago. The Google Playstore is out of date and cannot be updated. It overheats way to easy. It won't recognize anything plugged into the USB ports other than a wireless Keyboard and Mouse dongle and flash drives or USB HDDs. This thing has no way of running at 4K as advertised, and even if it could, with as hot as it gets it would probably fry the PCB. Support is virtually nonexistent and of no help. Also the HDMI port doesn't support HDCP which is needed for Amazon Video to work, so that doesn't even work. Watching live streams on YouTube is almost impossible, even at 460p they still lag and freeze. HBO Max which is supposed to work on this thing, stutters and freezes constantly, with no remedy found to fix it at all.So yourself a favor, get a different box. If I don't hear from the seller in the next week, I am returning this thing for a full refund from Amazon.Also for anyone looking this is the same as the Turewell T95 Super, This store is reselling these boxes minus the Turewell brand name.

Product was decent for the price, you can side loaded apps and emulators/games if they were not in the store but it stopped working after around 6 months.

I just finished setting up my new box. I was surprised by how small the box actually is. I do know I am going to need to purchase a keyboard. The manual really does not tell you much info at all. That said, if you have an Android Smartphone, then you have 1/2 the battle won. There are only a few preloaded apps, but Google Play Store App is raring to go to get you apps you want. I already am very impressed at clear the graphics are. I have Locast and I use Lenox Media Player. The clarity of both is amazing. I'm hoping for a long successful relationship with my new box. If there is any negative point, it is that the remote did not include batteries - takes 2 AAA - Only way to operate box is with remote. I think this is first time that batteries did not come with any remote.

Use primarily for local access, performs wellQuick response and nicely built. Has enough power to support additional customizationsHome Screen is a bit kludgy. This is probably customizable but divides the screen with 3 very large rectangles, a bit ad like. Then two narrow columns on the left with pre loaded and a limited main apps bar easily customizable but limited in # of apps. Already most of the icons provided I always bypass, the bar I’m at my max and have a couple more I can’t add(holds maybe 6).Nice operation, seems durable. Plays most formats. Unfussy.
