Works very well. Comes with plenty of hardware to mount it nearly wherever and however you like. It gives me a huge peace of mind and is far safer to glance at the screen than taking my eyes off the road to look at a mirror in a mirror. Installed in just a few minutes.Didn't have the plug problem, mostly because the wife's car is new enough to shut off the outlets when the car is turned off (2013 Chevy Cruze). For older vehicles I'd recommend a multi-plug outlet with a switch so you won't have to remove the plugs or risk draining the battery. Looking at buying another one for my car.

We are really happy with this camera - we take long road trips so it’s really important to keep an eye on our daughter in the back seat. The quality of video is great - we’d recommend!

Yhe wireless connection does not work. After only a few weeks of use it started to flicker on and off and would not have a signal. Now it will still power on and just doesn't display anything. Complete waste of money as it conveniently breaks after the return window.

My wife had been using the rear facing car seat mirror she purchased from Babies R Us to keep on eye on our daughter. The problem with the mirror is that it requires light so it can refract the image of the baby in the car seat. So you can guess how fun it is to try to keep on eye on your child in a cloudy day or even better at night. I began looking around and found the Yada Tiny Traveler to replace the mirror in each of our vehicles. We absolutely love them, whether it's day or night the wireless picture being transmitted from the camera to the monitor is crisp and clear. It has really helped to put our mind at ease and has truly helped us to focus more on the road versus having to constantly look back trying to catch a glimpse of what she is doing our how she is sleeping. We would definately recommend this product to all parents whether your child is in a rear facing or front facing position in the car seat. with this product you'll truly be able to keep an eye on the road and your child keeping everyone safe.

I love using the baby monitor! I'm the parent who has a baby monitor in everywhere the baby sleeps (crib, pack and play, etc). I originally got a mirror for the car so I could see the baby while driving. At first this was okay, but then I took my first night time trip, and I couldn't see anything. I looked on Amazon for a solution, and found this monitor. It was simple to setup, and works great. During the day I get a clear up close shot of my child, and at night the IR lights kick in and I can see just like it's daytime. The wireless works great, and I've never had any issues. The only two complaints are 1) no auto-dim at night. It can be a little bright during the night, but I quickly learned which buttons lower the brightness quickly. and 2) the IR changes instantly. This is good at night, as I don't have to wait for the picture. But during the day if I drive under trees or an overpass, the screen blinks and flashes as it quickly changes between IR night mode and regular day mode. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying. I got over it quickly.Overall, well worth the small price for the sanity it gives me. I love being able to see my child at night and at day nice and clear.

I bought this camera because I know that using a mirror would be too cumbersome for me. I'd be taking my eyes off the road for too long to try and peek at my little one.Installation was a breeze. No software to download. Just plug and go. Bear in mind, you will be needing 2 charging ports to power the monitor and camera separately. So if you're relying on these to charge your phone you might be out of luck.Picture quality is good enough. Colors are a bit desaturated. But then again I'm not expecting a hi res IMAX experience here. I just need to look in on my little guy once in a while with no fuss. As with other people, I've experienced the picture being washed out when there's a bright light source. Night vision is passable.Overall very happy with this purchase. I'm going to get another one for my wife's car as well.

My sister had this camera with her twins and she loved it! So after my $60 camera went out last winter I purchased this one. It is one of the best decisions I ever made. My sister in law wants to purchase it and will once they are available again.
